Serving the Portland climbing community for over 30 years with an indoor climbing gym, auto-belays, bouldering gym, top-ropes, sport lead, a yoga/fitness studio, and guide service that takes you out to the local cliffs that we helped to pioneer. COVID-19 | PORTLAND ROCK GYM This page will always be kept up to date with everything that you need to know to use the gym during COVID-19. Portland Rock Gym is open to both members and non-members. Punch cards, day passes, and guest passes are all available! Reservations are no longer required to visit the gym! Masks are still required at all times while within thebuilding.
INDOOR CLASSES
This includes tying a figure–eight knot, climbing commands, and belaying. This one-time, 2 hour introductory class will equip you with the necessary skills to belay a climber on top–rope. Class includes a one–week membership with rentals! Times: Saturdays 11AM - 1PM, Wednesdays 7 - 9PM. Price: $69 | Members: $34.50.OUTDOOR CLASSES
Outdoor Classes. Perfect for the first time climber. Participants will head to a local climbing area for three hours and climb with a PRG certified professional guide. It’s a great way to gain outdoor climbing experience in a fun and supportive environment. Times: 9AM-12PM Every day but Tuesdays. Must book in FACILITIES | PORTLAND ROCK GYM Facilities. Our 20,000 F t 2 gym features bouldering up to 17 feet tall, 40 foot tall top-roping & lead climbing, auto belays, weight room, cardio equipment, yoga & fitness studio, slackline, LED Moonboard, hangboards, campus rungs, locker rooms, showers w/ towel service, lounge space, climbing shop, WiFi, and covered bicycle parking.City Climber Cafe will be opening Fall 2020. Rates. Regular gym use is purchased by the day, by the month, and by the year. All options include use of our entire facility as well as entry to all of our regularly scheduled yoga and fitness classes.Day passes can always be upgraded to a membership before the end of theday.
