Rethinking Weeds in the City With Karel Hendriks. We spoke to musician, biologist and plant enthusiast Karel Hendriks while taking a stroll around the local neighbourhood in Amsterdam North to investigate some of the city’s urban wastelands, rethinking how we could look at weeds in the city. 5 days ago. GOING PUBLIC: PUBLIC ARCHITECTURE, URBANISM AND Going Public: Public Architecture, Urbanism and Interventions provides another selection of creative forms of architecture in public spaces. Published by Gestalten, the book focuses on six themes that vary from green spaces to architecture of intermediate status.. Going Public aims to inspire city planners on how to get people together in public spaces and encourage exchange of ideas. THE NEXT OFFICE IS IN THE SUN Working has been an indoor experience for decades, at least for brain workers. However, the notion of the office as a central point of obligatory collaboration becomes slowly outdated.
