SILENCING THE SURFACE ARC TOUCH MOUSE SCROLL NOISE Either way, it's an easy one. Simply go to the Windows Store and download the Arc Touch Bluetooth Mouse app. After installing and launching the app, all you need to do is switch off the Vibration/Sound setting. I turned it off entirely, but if you still want to feel and hear it a little bit you can adjust the slide down to whatever level you're REGIONAL RESTRICTIONS ON AUDIOBOOKS FROM AUDIBLE Regional Restrictions on Audiobooks from Audible. There was a bit of buzz about that virus overseas, but for most of January things were going okay. Of course, we all know how 2020 panned out. Here in Australia things were handled about as well as I guess they could have been. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU PUBLISH A BOOK? (AND WHAT AM I Most of the time, when an author releases a new book there is a big marketing plan that kicks into gear. Actually, a lot of the marketing plan gets actioned before a book gets published. Podcasts are pre-recorded, guest posts are pre-written, and ad campaigns get planned. When the book launches, all that stuff kicks into action withit.

I read Remote: Office Not Required in anticipation of a future in which I work remotely for companies in a more full-time basis. Whether that is my own company, with multiple employees around the world, or working for another company as an employee myself. As it turns out, a lot of what is covered in this book is relevant to my situation today. WHAT I LEARNED WATCHING MY OWN BUSINESS BEING DISRUPTED Great read Paul! I do also think there is a big threat with business that are going well. i.e. Been built up to a certain level where they are humming along and the owner can step away to "BACK UP YOUR FILE ENCRYPTION CERTIFICATE AND KEY" PROMPT I do have BitLocker enabled for the disks in this computer, but I'm quite sure I haven't used EFS to encrypt any files. It's been a few years since I needed to use Cipher.exe to do anything EFS-related, so I read the TechNet documentation to work out which switches to use to search my drives for encrypted files.. From a CMD prompt it's as simple as running “cipher.exe /u /n”. TWO MONTHS WITH THE LENOVO THINKPAD P50 MOBILE WORKSTATION Two Months with the Lenovo ThinkPad P50 Mobile Workstation. I read Remote: Office Not Required in anticipation of a future in which I work remotely for companies in a more full-time basis. Whether that is my own company, with multiple employees around the world, or working for another company as an employee myself. As it turns out, a lot of what is covered in this book is relevant to my situation today. IMPORTING HYPER-V VMS AFTER REBUILDING HOST So a failed OS disk was no big deal. I had a spare I could put in the server, reinstalled Windows Server 2012 R2, discovered that the spare drive was also dead (must have been an earlier failed one I forgot to label correctly), installed another spare, reinstalled Windows Server 2012 R2 *again*, spent a bit of time fiddling with NIC drivers to get it all working, and then I'm ready to set up "BACK UP YOUR FILE ENCRYPTION CERTIFICATE AND KEY" PROMPT I do have BitLocker enabled for the disks in this computer, but I'm quite sure I haven't used EFS to encrypt any files. It's been a few years since I needed to use Cipher.exe to do anything EFS-related, so I read the TechNet documentation to work out which switches to use to search my drives for encrypted files.. TOPO ZEPHYR REVIEW: A STABLE, CUSHIONED ROAD RUNNING SHOE Whatever it is, I felt that the Topo Zephyr was giving me exactly what I wanted. Some extra cushioning for long runs, but still a supportive shoe without being too soft underfoot. The heel drop is 5mm. The Topo Terraventure that I run with on trails has a 3mm drop.
