His passion for problem-solving and his natural fascination for diverse businesses and legal processes give Mr. Pasha a unique ability to visualize solutions to even the most complex matters. Mr. Pasha holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from San Diego State University in California and received his JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law at San Diego State. He established Pasha Law in San Diego in 2008, and in 2014, expanded his practice to Houston, Texas. Matthew J. Staub is an attorney with experience in business, taxation, trusts and estates, and business succession planning. Mr. Staub has represented a wide range of businesses against the Internal Revenue Service and Franchise Tax Board, as well as provided estate and succession planning for business owners. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Staub attended the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he majored in accounting and entrepreneurship. While his background in accounting drove his interest in tax, his foundation in entrepreneurship is what attracted him to Pasha Law. Mr. Staub also attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he received a taxation specialization. During that time, he spent multiple years running the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance group and representing taxpayers against the Franchise Tax Board through the Tax Appeals Assistance Program. Mr. Staub is active in the San Diego community by volunteering his time towards pro bono legal work and sitting on the board of a charitable organization.Close

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Rustam Abedinzadeh is an attorney with deep experience in Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) litigation, hospital and emergency room collections, and healthcare contracting and compliance. He is also well-versed in solving legal issues that occasionally stem from day-to-day hospital and emergency room operations and has represented healthcare providers against health insurance companies concerning a wide range of topics. In addition, he has successfully litigated against employers and plan administrators to recover rightfully owed payments on medical claims assigned to healthcare entities. Mr. Abedinzadeh obtained a BA in Political Economy and English through Williams College in Massachusetts but went on to earn a Juris Doctor at the Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. Initially, his goal was to become a doctor as he believed it was the most direct avenue to being able to help others. However, after experiencing how difficult it was for his family to afford adequate counsel to deal with issues stemming from his uncle's poor health, he decided to pursue a law degree and to pursue experience in medical litigation. During his time at Dedman, this desire to help people manifested over a year spent working at the school's tax clinic, where he provided free tax advice and representation in front of the IRS for people who could not afford an attorney. Mr. Abedinzadeh was able to combine his passion for healthcare and law by taking all available healthcare courses and focusing on employee medical benefits with a particular focus on ERISA. This all came together during his last year of law school, which found him interning with the Federal Department of Health and Human Services OIG in Dallas/Fort Worth. Early in his career, Mr. Abedinzadeh spent time with the Texas Attorney General's office, working with public information requests and writing administrative decisions. Before joining Pasha Law, Mr. Abedinzadeh’s experience includes four years as assistant general counsel at Altus Healthcare, where his practice was focused on providing legal services for two hospitals and eleven emergency rooms.Close

Trang grew up in the Dallas suburb of Grand Prairie Texas. For undergraduate studies, Trang attended the University of Texas at Arlington where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Journalism. As a student at UT Arlington, Trang was exposed to the multiple challenges marginalized communities faced. Driven by this and witnessing her parent’s business struggle with legal issues during the Great Recession, Trang decided to pursue a career in law. In 2014, Trang attended St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. During her time at St. Mary’s, Trang was a staff writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice, a law review focused on issues affecting marginalized communities. In addition, she was a member of St. Mary’s Dean’s Research Fellows, a team of students focused on researching and writing on various legal issues. Furthermore, she was a summer law clerk with the City of Austin’s Law Department, as well as, a law clerk for the law firm Elms, Harmon, Macchia PLLC, and former Federal Magistrate Judge and Mediator/Arbitrator, Judge Dan Naranjo. Prior to joining Pasha Law, Trang worked at CAPCO, where she gained experience in real estate compliance, banking, mortgages, and finance. At Pasha Law, Trang has experience in corporate governance, business law, mergers and acquisitions, and contract law. She lives with her husband and two cats. COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST Logan Vega is a communications specialist and linguist with professional experience in the areas of corporate law, immigration law, human resources and information technology. A fourth generation Texan, born in San Antonio, he studied linguistics and communication stateside and abroad in Italy. Mr. Vega worked with the European NGO AGEEE in Italy, assisting in the organization of international events promoting cultural inclusion and diversity across Europe. In 2006 Logan proudly accepted the honor to interpret for the Italian forum at the sixtieth liberation commemoration of the Dachau concentration camp. Stateside, Mr. Vega served as linguistic support and diversity advocate for the UTSA’s Office of information technology. After living in the UK, Logan relocated to Houston In 2013 where he provided communication services to Houston area law firms.
