Sarah (Dunn) Trezza, PA-C, was born and raised in Chesterfield County, Virginia, and graduated from James River High School. She was a State Champion Field Hockey player, and also played basketball and softball for James River High School. Sarah graduated with Honors from VCU with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then received her Physicians Assistant Master’s Degree from Shenandoah University. She met her husband, Andy, as a seventh grader at Robious Middle School, and has supported him as he has served our country as a combat medic in the United States Army, including multiple activations and while serving in Baghdad, Iraq. They have two beautiful girls together. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys all sports, including rooting for her favorite teams (The Washington Redskins and The Atlanta Braves) as well as listening to music (especially live), hiking, and serving at the Bon Air Christian Church working with the Youth Group and as a Sunday School teacher. She also serves on the Virginia Outdoor Ministries Committee and works as a Director for The Church’s Regional Camp, Craig Springs. Sarah enjoys all aspects of Pediatrics, but especially loves adolescents, including adolescent mental health, gynecology, and sports medicine. She also loves ADD/ADHD, not to mention taking care of our mothers, including addressing lactation and feeding concerns, as well as any postpartum depression concerns. Sarah is a firm believer in taking care of not only our patients, but our families as well.×
Dr. Seliskar is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Virginia where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Seliskar actually worked on spacecraft designs for IBM / Loral for almost 7 years. Yes, she was a rocket scientist! Dr. Seliskar received her M.D. from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of Virginia. She enjoys all areas of pediatrics, but has a special interest in early childhood development (both normal and delayed), autism, and Asperger’s syndrome. Dr. Seliskar lives in Midlothian with her husband and son. She enjoys cooking, being a soccer mom, and volunteering at Woolridge Elementary.×
Dr. Mulreany was born in Washington DC and was raised in the surrounding Virginia area of DC. She attended the University of Virginia and after graduation went on to her medical training at the Medical College of Virginia / Virginia Commonwealth University. Like her partners, she completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Mulreany has three children. Besides her family, her hobbies include walking, reading and vacation. Her special Pediatric Medical interests are mental health, and promoting children’s abilities and help with their disabilities.×
Retired in 2016 and is now enjoying more free time and enjoying herfamily.

Dr. Mason was born in Princeton, WV and raised in Tazewell, VA. He received his B.S. from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise and his M.D. from the University of Virginia. After graduating there, he completed his Pediatric Internship and Residency at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University. He practiced with PAHP for over six years prior to returning in October 2017, after a year practicing in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. He has always found his home to be in Virginia! He is happily married to his better half, Michelle, and a proud father of three fur babies (cats). He enjoys exercise, sports, and cooking. His special interests are emergency care, adolescent pediatrics, sports nutrition, and mentalhealth.

Dr. “Ted” Henderson was raised in Lexington, VA, where he also completed his undergraduate degree at the Virginia Military Institute in 2005, graduating with honors in Biology and Chemistry. After marrying Rachel, his high school sweetheart, Dr. Henderson completed two years of research at UVA in Pediatric Pulmonology. He then completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011 and completed his Pediatric Residency at VCU/MCV in 2014. Dr. Henderson has always enjoyed serving the Christian community, and after completing Residency, he spent one year in Papua New Guinea, serving as a medical missionary at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital. Rachel, an Autism teacher in Henrico County, served as a teacher of missionary children during their year of service. To read more of their adventures, please visit their BLOG HERE . Dr. and Mrs. Henderson are happily settled in Bon Air with their daughter Pennie, and they continue to enjoy serving with their church family at West End Assembly of God (WEAG). In addition to ongoing short term medical missions (most recently to Haiti), Dr. Henderson’s special interests include fly fishing, soccer, tennis, hunting, and hiking/climbing. Dr. Henderson enjoys all aspects of pediatrics from newborns to college age, and has a special interest in using holistic osteopathic philosophy and preventive education in evaluating and treating his patients. He is accepting all patients (both new & established), for routine physicals and sick visits at our Bon Air and Midlothianlocations.

Dr. Gewanter retired in December of 2015 after many years of an active practice of Pediatric Rheumatology. He will be missed by PAHP and his patients. He is now pursuing a career in advancing the Medical Home Concept and the inclusion in this advancing health care concept more services and organizations than just medical offices.×
Dr. Garrity was born and raised in Rochester, New York. She completed her undergraduate work at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Garrity received her M.D. from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York and completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Garrity worked in private practice in Northern Virginia for several years prior to settling down in the Richmond area. Dr. Garrity enjoys all areas of Pediatrics with a special interest in the role of early identification and intervention for children with developmental delays. Dr. Garrity resides in Midlothian with her husband and three children. She enjoys running, travel, and staying involved with her children’s activities.×
Dr. Everett was born in Washington DC and grew up in that area. He attended Washington and Lee University and became a true “Mink.” After graduation he completed his medical training at the Medical College of Virginia / Virginia Commonwealth University. His Pediatric Internship and Residency was also done at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Everett joined the growing group at Pediatric and Adolescent Health Partners as the fifth member. Dr. Everett is a “River Man” — he loves to fly fish in any river he can find. He is also an avid canoeist and enjoys all aspects of a lazy day on the Rivanna River. Tracie’s own experience turned her focus and attention to women’s health and lactation and has been working with women and infants ever since. Tracie finds great pleasure in helping women during such a beautiful and vulnerable time. She has been through it all, the good, the bad and the ugly with four children of her own. Tracie’s focus is helping a mom and baby receive the experience that suits and works for them, while making sure each are as healthy and happy as they can be. After graduating there, Dr. Blakey made his way South and completed his Pediatric Internship and Residency at the Medical College of Virginia / Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Blakey loves the out of doors and can often be seen riding his bike or running the streets near the James River. Dr. Blakey has 3 children and 7 grandchildren. TED ABERNATHY, M.D., FAAP Dr. Abernathy was raised in Houston Texas and is a true Texan at heart. After a short period in New Orleans, LA, he went to the Virginia Military Institute where he graduated as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. Dr. Abernathy attended the Medical College of Virginia and after receiving his medical degree, he continued there as a Pediatric Internand then Resident.

Missing the infants and children, Dr. Abernathy started private practice in Richmond Virginia with a dream and a vision to develop a pediatric practice that could meet all of the needs of his pediatric and adolescent patients. Dr. Abernathy has three children and currently 8 grandchildren. His early special interests outside of medicine lead him to a commercial pilot’s license and a career in aviation as he developed his medical practice. EDWARD M. HENDERSON, D.O. Dr. “Ted” Henderson was raised in Lexington, VA, where he also completed his undergraduate degree at the Virginia Military Institute in 2005, graduating with honors in Biology and Chemistry. After marrying Rachel, his high school sweetheart, Dr. Henderson completed two years of research at UVA in Pediatric Pulmonology. He then completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011 and completed his Pediatric Residency atVCU/MCV in 2014.
Dr. Henderson has always enjoyed serving the Christian community, and after completing Residency, he spent one year in Papua New Guinea, serving as a medical missionary at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital. In addition to ongoing short term medical missions (most recently to Haiti), and regularly volunteering with Crossover Healthcare (free clinic in RVA), Dr. Henderson’s special interests include “F3” early morning workouts, landscaping, fly fishing, soccer, tennis, hunting, and hiking/climbing. Dr. Henderson enjoys all aspects of pediatrics from newborns to college age, and has a special interest in using holistic osteopathic philosophy and preventive education in evaluating and treating his patients. He is accepting all patients (both new & established), for routine physicals and sick visits at our Bon Air and Midlothianlocations.

SARAH (DUNN) TREZZA, PA-C Sarah (Dunn) Trezza, PA-C, was born and raised in Chesterfield County, Virginia, and graduated from James River High School. She was a State Champion Field Hockey player, and also played basketball and softball for James River High School. Sarah graduated with Honors from VCU with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then received her Physicians Assistant Master’s Degree from Shenandoah University. She met her husband, Andy, as a seventh grader at Robious Middle School, and has supported him as he has served our country as a combat medic in the United States Army, including multiple activations and while serving in Baghdad, Iraq. They have two beautiful girlstogether.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys all sports, including rooting for her favorite teams (The Washington Redskins and The Atlanta Braves) as well as listening to music (especially live), hiking, and serving at the Bon Air Christian Church working with the Youth Group and as a Sunday School teacher. She also serves on the Virginia Outdoor Ministries Committee and works as a Director for The Church’s Regional Camp, Craig Springs. Sarah enjoys all aspects of Pediatrics, but especially loves adolescents, including adolescent mental health, gynecology, and sports medicine. She also loves ADD/ADHD, not to mention taking care of our mothers, including addressing lactation and feeding concerns, as well as any postpartum depression concerns. Sarah is a firm believer in taking care of not only our patients, but our families aswell.

Dustin has been working with children for years prior to beginning a medical career. He began to develop an interest in the pediatric population while working alongside a pediatric occupational therapist in the local school system. He later served as the lead preschool teacher for the three-year-old class in Winchester, Virginia. Dustin discovered Pediatric and Adolescent Health Partners while on clinical rotations as a PA student and fell in love with the opportunity to serve children and their families from early childhood through young adulthood. He hopes to support children and their families with any of their unique needs. He has special interests including early childhood development, pediatric mental health, and allergy and asthmamanagement.
In addition to pediatrics, Dustin’s other passion includes animals. He has a Labrador mix and a Husky mix adopted from a rescue. He also enjoys kayaking, travel, music, the beach, and volunteering with various charity organizations devoted to cancer research, pediatric health, and animal rescue. During her school career, Katie visited Spain, studied abroad in Mexico, and helped build houses inCosta Rica.
When Katie is not caring for her patients, she spends time and vacations with friends and family, both locally and all over the world. She enjoys trying new restaurants, eating dinner with friends, cooking on the grill, boating, wake surfing, and attending concerts featuring her favorite country music artists. She loves games, all sorts, but especially if they involve a basketball. She even coached the girl’s basketball team at her church for a few years.
