WHY NONVIOLENCE?
Nonviolence is a way of life for courageous people. Nonviolence seeks to win friendship and understanding. Nonviolence works to defeat injustice, not people. Nonviolence holds that voluntary suffering can educate and transform. Nonviolence chooses love instead of hate. Nonviolence believes that the universe is on the side of justice.NONVIOLENT CITIES
The Nonviolent Cities project mandates that cities pursue a more holistic, creative, city-wide vision of nonviolence, where everyone together practices, promotes, teaches and institutionalizes nonviolence at the local level. We seek not just to undermine the local and regional culture of violence, but to transform it into a culture of nonviolence. RADICAL PRAYERS: ON PEACE, LOVE AND NONVIOLENCE Prayers cover subjects ranging from healing the environment, ending war, gun violence, poverty and racism, gratitude for the blessings around us and strength to continue on the path for peace, justice and nonviolence. John Dear writes in the introduction, “Prayer and nonviolence go hand in hand. On the one hand, prayer is a dailyjourney

Nonviolence is a way of life for courageous people. Nonviolence seeks to win friendship and understanding. Nonviolence works to defeat injustice, not people. Nonviolence holds that voluntary suffering can educate and transform. Nonviolence chooses love instead of hate. Nonviolence believes that the universe is on the side of justice. CAMPAIGN NONVIOLENCE A project of Pace e Bene, Campaign Nonviolence is connecting the dots by working to end war, poverty, racism and environmental destruction —and building a nonviolent culture. Join Campaign Nonviolence as we take a stand against violence and injustice and pursue Dr. King’s vision of a new way forward toward a culture of active nonviolence.FOR GOODNESS SAKE

NONVIOLENT CITIES
