DIY MODIFYING THE STOCK THROTTLE BODY FOR MORE AIR FLOW Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor Ozhonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following. You follow these steps at your own risk! Aim: To 'open up' the OEM Throttle body (TB) to promote more air flow. Since the tps will be removed for this mod,U should calibrate it when U put it back on,U should anyways lol So here's WHY DO HONDAS REV SO HIGH? It is known fact, Horsepower is proportional to rpm and as per crx-16's explanation of Power = Fxacc, then it stands to reason the higher the rpm, the more Power ANY motor will make. It appears Honda have chosen this route of small displacement engines & high rpm motors to couple their relatively small cars of the past.D16Y4 WITH Y8 HEAD?
d16y8 has about 7kw more than the d16y4? and a tiny bit more torque + vtec :D. but if ur doin a d16y4 block and d16y8 head. im sure u'll have better gains from the higher compression? if u have a look the y8 has bigger throttle bodies + the head is better build im told. im doing a similar setup but its going to be a d16y4 block and d16y1 head and a snail attached to it. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NORMAL ENGINE OIL AND STOP Some advice - just get ANY suited 10-30 or 5-30 oil and change it every 5,000kms. And your oil filter every second oil change. Cheaper the better (for both oil and filter - ryco is fine for filters and caliber or similar cheap is ok for oil)- you won't notice a difference except in your wallet. That's pretty low ks, I'd go with 5W-30 or5W-40
S2000 WEIGHT REDUCTION GUIDE Ive been collecting weights for a while now and stockpiled them into the following table to help others with their weight reduction endeavours. Don't believe the weights you read on the internet haha 1. removed stock ignition cover = -310g 2. removed bonnet prop = -390g DIY OBDIIA DC2R IMMOBLISER REMOVAL Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor Ozhonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following. You follow these steps at your own risk! NOTE: Information used in this DIY has been obtained from PGMFI.org and applied to the AUDM ECU Hi Guys, Dont pay to have your Imobiliser removed from your DC2R P73 ECU, do it your self. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DC2 AND DC4?? OK so Joneblaze says he has a DC4. Fair enough, but what MAKES it a DC4? I thought it may have been the different front end etc, but his is 94 stylez.. What gives man? Any particular differences? OR is DC4 the GSi and DC2 is a VTiR??? Never knew, and never wanted to ask for the fear of being ridiculed. Now I dont give a shit so i'm asking lol:) FANX!
FRONT PARK LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT If you've got small hands you can basically change it by removing ~ 4 clips. The clips holding the wheel liner and the one behind the wheel. Im not sure if you understand me but just read the service manual under lights section and you should be able STRANGE YELLOW LIQUID ON BATTERY TERMINALS Just discovered some strange looking liquid on my battery terminals this evening. It's not crusty or white, rather a wet looking yellow liquid. Never seen this before. Any ideas what this is?? Is it corrosion?? The liquid is even under the terminal where the positive cap is. I'm abit concerned if it's safe or not. Hope it's not leakingacid or something.
FRONT LOWER THAN REAR, EXPLAIN THIS? gelo. 26-05-2006, 11:10 PM. having the front lower than the rear is to improve corner exits. when u acclerate out of a corner u shift the weight from front to the back. having the front lower front when u exit a corner, the car will be more balanced as u accelerate. cornerexit

B/D/F (accord)/H series turn counterclockwise. F20C and K series turn clock wise. Easiest way to tell is, if the engine is on the passenger side its a counterclockwise motor. If the engine is a RWD or on the drivers side, its clock wise. This applies to

crank and cam seals yes. - AC Belt doubtful mine are still oem items lol. - PS Belt same as above. - valve cover gasket. - clutch master and slave, check for leaks in the cabin at the master cylinder. - Water pump do every 100,000k as it's easy to change during the timingbelt service.
DIY PGMFI DIAGNOSTICS Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor Ozhonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following. You follow these steps at your own risk! Aim: Read fault codes from PGMFI ECU to CRV CALIPERS AND ROTORS ON AN EG? The hub of the CRV is a direct bolt on for the EG, given it's the 96-01 model, you would need to run a 36mm outer cv joint, EG is 32mm. if you only talking about the caliper and disk then it wouldn't be possible, because EG has 242mm front disk, you can't go up 2 sizes with oem equipment, therefore you need a hub from a DC2 integra with 262mm front, then you can use CRV caliper and run a 282mm HOW LONG SHOULD 3-4MM OF TREAD LAST? Way to many variables to know how long a tire can last, some tires can last up2 5 yrs/150,000 kms! than again some only last for 30,000kms with moderate driving. Brand/tire type (e.g Soft rubber compound), driving style, tire pressure, road surface, wheel alignment etc etc all have an effect on how ur tire last. IDetails
