SNOWDONIA ROAD TRIP
Porthmadog harbour Snowdonia driving route. Our route started in the town of Porthmadog on the North Wales coast. This harbour town was our base for the weekend, and it’s also the hub for the West Highland and Ffestiniog steam railways as well as being close to the quirky Italian-style village of Portmeirion.. HOW TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT ALASKA CRUISE Summer (June–early August) Summer in Alaska is peak cruise season, with warm temperatures averaging 13–16°C (55–65°F). Days are long, peaking around 20 hours of daylight around the summer solstice in June – or even longer in the far north of Alaska. But Cheltenham has lots to offer as a ONE DAY IN REYKJAVIK, ICELAND: A 24-HOUR ITINERARY One day in Reykjavik, Iceland: A 24-hour itinerary. In the 10 years since I first visited Iceland the country’s popularity has exploded – it’s gone from hidden gem to hotspot. A lot of that is thanks to the airlines, with cheap flight deals and its handy position between Europe and North America. TRAVEL PACKING LIST: WHAT TO PACK FOR A SUMMER CITY BREAK My general rule of thumb for any three-night trip would be to pack two bottoms, three tops and one dress.
