2021 TRANSITION SENTINEL REVIEW Since it was launched, the Transition Sentinel has been a bellwether for progressive trail bike geometry. The 2021 Sentinel is no exception, but in this case the trend indicates that trail bike geometry is stabilizing. NSMB.COM - 2021 KONA HONZO ESD - FULL REVIEW The BB occasionally feels a little low but normally it clears most obstacles I expect to be able to avoid. Crank drag at bottom out hasn't been a problem either, even with a longer fork (more on that below), although I have noticed the extra width of the Kona WahWah 2 pedals I've been a little more since front travel went up.

Well a spin around the block does not constitute a test, so here I am 6 months on. The Absolute Black chain rings come with a narrow-wide tooth profile and I haven’t had an issue with a dropped chain once. Oval rings do make your pedal stroke smoother. After getting used to the feeling of the oval ring I stopped noticing it. It seems that running these pedals dry is an option but I'll need clarification from Crankbrothers.
