I have been working on some overlays of some of the ea tail designs, and so far they are working just as I had hoped they would! I need to fix the gradient one since it’s a bit low, but otherwise I am pleased. But basically each different design section will be it’s own piece of cc, available in all of the colors, so you can mix and match as you please (shown above in different colors). I was planning on having two sets of each overlay for each tail, but after trying them on the opposite tail I don’t believe the difference in texture is all that noticeable. I think in this case the more I can cut down on individual pieces the better, since there are going to be quite a few already.

MERMAID TAILS - SORBETS REMIX RECOLORS the four styles of mermaid tails from Island Living _(required) _recolored in my Sorbets Remix palette. They are all standalone recolors, and all of them are solid colors (different patterns to come later on). They have also been resorted to match @berryconfetti ​‘s mermaid tail fix

ISLAND LIVING EP HAIR RECOLORS - SORBETS AND ELDERBERRIES REMIX All of the Island Living hairs recolored in Sorbets Remix for teens-adult, or children for those two hairs, and Elderberries Remix for elders. Having Island Living installed is required for these recolors to work properly. Also included is an accessory overlay for the flower crown, categorized as a hat. Also a huge shout out to Ana ( @dcwnandout ), Gab ( @ametrinesims ), and Tob ( @infiniteraptor ) for helping me get these

QUICK UPDATE

I got my dates mixed up and didn’t realize that this was the weekend all of my friends from out of town were coming to visit. So if S4S updates today I won’t be able to work on anything since I will be

out.

I have some plans tomorrow as well but hopefully I can get the hair recolors, the mermaid eye replacements, and maybe just some basic one color tail recolors done. I do have plans to make accessory ombre overlays for the ombre hairs in this pack, as well as making some overlays for the patterns for the

tails.

> I’m going to try! I know things have been pretty quiet around here, but I am excited to recolor the new hairs and give recoloring some mermaid stuff a shot. I’m also not sure how much stuff will need to be “enabled” for mermaids as well. I’m sure S4S will have a batch fix for stuff, and I’m mostly worried about my skintones, I’m not sure if the program I used to make them is still being updated. I’m also going to try to make some edits to the clarity eyes for the new mermaid swatches, I imagine I can at least get the textures done prior to the pack release, I just need to find screenshots of what they look like for reference. Maybe I’ll finally throw together a new pupil/shine set like I’ve been meaning to. Long story short: I will be recoloring stuff for the new pack as soon

as I can!
