You would need to do some drilling into the bracket and then drill a hole into the fender behind the license plate (use a rubber grommet when done) With some creative rerouting, the original wires are long enough (just). Here are some pictures: The vacuum line of carb #1 goes to the petcock and the vacuum line on carb #2 goes to the enrichener circuit. There are other ports on the sides that go to the enrichener on both carbs. Nothing goes to the tank directly. The yellow hose is connected by a tee to both carbs. Its the bowl overflow line. YOUR FAVORITE SPROCKET MOD Blog Entries: 7. Most common mod is probably going from a 14/45 stock setup to a 15/45 setup. Lowers revs a smidge, making highway travel a bit less hectic. But people have gone all the way to a 16T up front, with a little grinding of the sprocket cover. I'm thinking to get some mild steel stock, maybe like 2" and bend it into a "U" to hold the bags out from the frame enough to raise up the bottom. DIY: KOSO GAUGE INSTALL Use Teflon or loctite and install the water temp sensor into the water temp sensor adapter. Cut the upper radiator hose in half and install the adapter in between the two. It is a very tight fit. Install the oil temp sensor into the koso oil plug sensor adapter. SHIMMING THE CARB NEEDLES... IS IT FOR YOU? Shimming the needles, raising the needle jet, the washer trick whatever you want to call it, it works for our bikes. I would rate this mod as the top DIY one should consider doing to their bike, especially if you’re a newer rider and trying to get comfortableriding it.

WHICH FORK OIL WEIGHT SHOULD I CHOOSE? Stick a certain amount of hose down and suck the oil out. Now you have your oil set. The weight of the oil sets your overall rebound and compression. Always use the same brand as different brands have different weights. A 10w Ohlins is not the same as a 10w Motul forkoil.

TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS ARE ACTING LIKE HAZARD Second guess would be that your turn signal dash indicator light (the one that's behind the green dot on your dashboard) is blown out. I'm thinking to get some mild steel stock, maybe like 2" and bend it into a "U" to hold the bags out from the frame enough to raise up the bottom. WIthout that I only have like a 1" clearance between bag and muffler. WON'T "RUN RIGHT", WON'T IDLE, CHOKE ONLY, ETC There was nothing. After working in an Aprilia dealership and fixing dozens of scooters that had to come in not running after the winter. Pilot jets 99% of the time . CARB OVERFLOW. WHAT COULD CAUSE THIS TO HAPPEN? If the float bowl tapping doesn't work, this might. There may be a bit of junk stuck between the float needle and its seat. With the petcock set to off, open the float drain bolt on the bottom, of course with a suitable length of tubing and container to catch the float bowl worthof gas.
