A paper by Darcy (2021) outlining a toolkit for those delivering drug education was published in the Health Education Journal entitled ‘Drug education best practice for health, community and youth workers: a practical and accessible tool-kit’. 1 It aims to support health, community, and youth workers by providing best practice guidance on drug education with children, young people, and adults. Registration for the assessment tests will be provided directly on the NMBI website. The online tests can be taken any time during the testing window which opens on 22 April 2021 at 10am and closes on 28 April 2021 at 1pm. NMBI ISSUES FINAL RENEWAL NOTICES NMBI issues final renewal notices. NMBI has issued final reminder renewal notices for 2021 in the past few days. The 2021 renewal facility will close for the year at 23:59 on 16 April 2021 and the Board will consider removals on 20 April 2021. The framework NMBI APPROVES INTERIM PANDEMIC GUIDANCE ON PRONOUNCEMENT We have approved the ‘Interim Clinical Guidance for the Pronouncement of Death by Registered Nurses in Identified Services in the Context of the Global COVID-19 Pandemic.’This guidance was released today by the Office of Nursing and Midwifery Services, HSE and can be accessed in the HSE Dr. Steeven’s Library..
