ARAWAK ARTIFACTS- ANGUILLA NEWS Bringing the past to life. February 17, 2001 was the unveiling of a limited edition of reproductions Arawak Arifacts, hand crafted in Anguilla. These unique reproductions are the result of an idea by Wilma Vanterpool of Island Harbour. Wilma has been studying the the Arawak Indians for many years, visiting museums and gatheringinformation.
SMITTY'S IN ISLAND HARBOUR- ANGUILLA LOCAL NEWS Smitty has live music on weekends, and he has a huge nightclub upstairs that can even hold fans of The Mussingtons. RECIPE FOR JOHNNY CAKES- ANGUILLA LOCAL NEWS Johnny Cakes. Sift together flour, cornmeal and baking powder. Mix together with salt, sugar and margarine. Make a well in the flour mixture and add vegetable oil. Add water slowly. Mix carefully until mixture is not sticky. Knead into a ball until smooth. Cover and letsit for 15 minutes.

In the summer of 1998, Gaetano volunteered in Anguilla, creating a summer "computer camp" for children and adults. From the Mouths of Babes Kaitlin was so excited by her stay in Island Harbour this summer that she wrote and illustrated a book about Anguilla. Her parents, grandparents, and 2 younger sisters stayed in apartments at the Harbour Villas.They rented jeeps and went beachhopping.
