Je m'appelle Charles Bordenave et je suis originaire de Royan en France. J'ai découvert After Effects en 2005 un peu par hasard, au cours de ma thèse en informatique à Montréal. Mes intérêts ont rapidement convergé vers l'écriture d'expressions et de scripts qui semblaient être la passerelle naturelle entre ma formation de mathématicien/informaticien et l'univers de l'animation graphique. Après quatre années à expérimenter et quelques projets en tant que freelance, j'ai fondé Motion Boutique en 2009 avec Valentin Robert.

My name is Charles Bordenave and I am from Royan in France. I started working with After Effects in 2005 while I was a PhD student in computer science at Montreal. My interest quickly converged to expressions and scripting which appeared to be a natural bridge between my mathematics/computer science background and the motion graphics world.
