THE LOST TREASURE OF THE NEWTON BOYS AND AMERICA’S BIGGEST The Newton Boys are famously known for carrying out America’s biggest train robbery on June 12th, 1924. FOUND TREASURE: THE BOSTON CASQUE OF THE SECRET ARMCHAIR The major construction at this site got the attention of a few Bostonian treasure hunters including that of Secret Seeker Jason Krupat. Krupat, a game and puzzle designer by trade, had taken to walking down Commercial Street to scout Langone Park and the surrounding areas for several months, where he believed this puzzle would lead him to the treasure casque and key that had been buried THE MYSTERY AND LOST TREASURE OF THE H.M.S. HUSSAR On November 23rd, 1780, Captain Charles Pole sailed the HMS Hussar up the East River in efforts to transport the ship’s cargo to a safer location. TOP TEN THEORIES ON THE CURSE OF OAK ISLAND AND WHAT IS Various theories on what might be buried in the mysterious Money Pit on Oak Island have been put forth since its discovery centuries ago. In 1795, a curious depression in the earth was noticed by a young boy who was exploring the island off of Nova Scotia. FOUND HIDDEN TREASURE: BREAKING HOME TIES BY NORMAN The 1954 painting of Breaking Home Ties is no exception. Through its scene, the painting captures a heartwarming moment in a father and son’s relationship. The boy is shown excited to be heading off to the university. Dressed to the max with wide eyes and smile, he waits by his father for the train to come. The father, while proud, is shown IN SEARCH OF THE MONTREAL CASQUE OF THE SECRET ARMCHAIR This is the seventh of a series of Six Questions with dedicated searchers of The Secret (A Treasure Hunt) published in 1982 by Byron Preiss.
