Dingle Distillery provides the Gin that we use in our famous Gin ice cream. The 2019 world best gin winner is made right here in Dingle Co. Kerry. Our Galway shop is in the Latin Quarter. It's in the very heart of the city, High Street, which leads into Shop Street, is a street full of bustle and colour, with street musicians and shoppers mingling. As always, come in for a taste of ice cream and a little break from the busy streets outside. BROWN BREAD ICE CREAM Stir until the custard thickens (around 60C). Allow the custard to cool. Stir in the cream. Melt brown sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar crystals have dissolved. Stir in the bread crumbs and allow to cool. Bring milk to a low simmer. 4. Slowly add the milk to the egg/sugar mixture with the mixer running. PISTACHIO (PISTACHE) ICE CREAM PISTACHIO (PISTACHE) ICE CREAM. 1. Beat the sugar and egg yolks together until thick and pale yellow. 2. Bring the milk to a low simmer. 3. Beat the milk into the eggs and sugar in a slow stream. 4. Pour the mixture back into the pan and place over low heat. IRISH COFFEE ICE CREAM 1. Beat in the egg yolks with the the sugar until thick and pale yellow. 2. Bring the milk to a low simmer. 3. Beat the milk into the eggs and sugar in a slow stream. 4. STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM Combine the strawberries and lemon juice and 30g of the sugar in a saucepan and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. 4. Bring the milk to a low simmer. 5. Remove from the heat. 6. Beat the rest of the sugar and egg yolks together until thick andpale yellow. 7.
CARAMEL SAUCE
1. Combine the milk and the cream in a single jug or measuring cup. 2. Pour the water in a medium-sized, high-sided, thick-bottomed saucepan and distribute the sugar evenly over the water. 3. Place over the medium/high heat without stirring, until the sugar has dissolved. 4.OLIVE OIL BROWNIES
Preheat oven to 160-165 C. 2. Mix the sugar and cocoa together. 3. Add the egg whites s and beat until thoroughly combined. 4. Beat in the olive oil. 5. Use residual olive oil from measuring cup to grease asmall baking tray.
MARGARITA SORBET
Boil the water, then remove from the heat. Stir in the sugar, until it is completely dissolved. Cover immediately and cool completely. Stir in the tequila, lime, and lemon juice. Taste it to make sure you like it! Freeze using a domestic ice cream machine, or cover and place in the freezer, stirring at 1 hr intervals to break up the ice. Here at Murphys we use Kerry cow milk, which we source locally right here in Dingle, from farmer Colm Murphy. This cattle breed are quiet special. They originated in County Kerry, and are used primarily for milk production. In fact, Kerry cattle are known as the first breed ever bred solely for dairy. The globules of butterfat in Kerry milkare
