SUMMER ECOLOGY PROGRAM Summer Ecology Program. Like many organizations and businesses, we've had to adapt quickly and make tough decisions. After extensive deliberations, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to cancel many of our 2020 and 2021 summer programs. VOLCANO NATURALIST PROGRAM Become an expert on the volcano in our backyard as a Volcano Naturalist at Mount St. Helens. The Volcano Naturalist Program is a 12-week certification course offered by the Mount St. HelensInstitute.
GEOGIRLS | MOUNT ST. HELENS GeoGirls is a 5-day, 4-night camp geology and technology camp for girls (cis and trans gender) at Mount St. Helens. SUMMER ECOLOGY PROGRAM Summer Ecology Program is an overnight field-based camp for youth age 15 - 18 years old interested in natural resources, ecology, biology and/or geology. Participants travel from around the United States for the opportunity to meet and practice real science. This program is designed to introduce high school students to field-based STEMcareers.

A FREE integrated curriculum designed for 4th grade students aligned with Next Generation Science Standards. Volcanic eruptions can produce large amounts of debris in the form of sediment. Volcanic sediment is a serious hazard that can flood river valleys, bury homes and wash out bridges and roads.__
