Manchester School of Architecture’s annual programme of student-led live projects. Each year the MSA Live (formerly Events) programme unites Master of Architecture year 1 with BA (Hons) Architecture years 1 and 2 and Master of Landscape Architecture year 1 students in mixed-year teams to undertake live projects with external partners to create social impact. CONTINUITY IN ARCHITECTURE Continuity in Architecture at Manchester School of Architecture was established in 1993. It is a studio for teaching and research. It focuses upon the sustainable design of new buildings and public spaces within the historic city and interventions within existing structures. THE LANDSCAPES OF POST-WAR INFRASTRUCTURE: CULTURE The network will unite an existing multidisciplinary team of academics with new members from government agencies, the private sector, community groups and artists to consider the landscapes of infrastructure broadly, but with attention to some specific cases.DOMINIC SAGAR
Dominic Sagar. Dominic became a full time lecture at MSA in 2008. Prior to this Dominic, a fully qualified architect, was a founding partner in Sagar Stevenson Architects, a practice set up in 1989 in a decrepit derelict run down area of the City centre. BA3 Ateliers. BA3 is where students begin to specialise. We help them to expand their own interests by allowing them to choose which atelier to study within. 6 of our 7 ateliers are vertical – they are associated and work with an atelier in the MArch programme. Like last year, we began with some new ateliers and some redefined atelier MASTER OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE Duration. 2 years full-time. 4 years part-time. Trans-Atlantic relations have been strong over many centuries, but the significance of Black history and excellence during this period has, much like the Medlock, been neglected.MSA LIVE 21

The aim was to produce an architecture that could now effect a state of change over several decades. A proposal that could establish a new identity for the people of Manchester and the area that grows out of society andplace.

CONTINUITY IN ARCHITECTURE Continuity in Architecture at Manchester School of Architecture was established in 1993. It is a studio for teaching and research. It focuses upon the sustainable design of new buildings and public spaces within the historic city and interventions within existing structures. EVENTS 20 – MANCHESTER SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE Throughout Events 20 we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of support of our collaborators and guests. Given the circumstances and the involvement of a large group of students across MArch, BArch and external school participants working in collaboration, it wouldn’t be safe to run the project at this time.DOMINIC SAGAR
Dominic Sagar. Dominic became a full time lecture at MSA in 2008. Prior to this Dominic, a fully qualified architect, was a founding partner in Sagar Stevenson Architects, a practice set up in 1989 in a decrepit derelict run down area of the City centre.
