WHY IS HISTORY IMPORTANT?HISTORY MAKERS
The goal for this website as well as this class is to set you up for success in the classroom. I hope that through making this class interactive that we will be able to learn more about history and the significance that you and I play in a world that is constantlychanging.
Through class I hope that you will be challenged to think like a historian, live as a citizen of this world, and plan to be a history changer. By looking at the past, we can understand who we are today, and shape tomorrow's society. I challenge you to be a _HISTORY MAKER_. -------------------------GO FOR 5
My goal is to help you succeed (in life), but for this class success can be best seen by passing the AP test!
I will provide the resources, the material, the topics, the homework, you name it and I'll get it to you... But it isn't up to me to pass the test, ultimately it is 100% up to you. Many times we think history is just about memorizing a bunch of these old facts and old dates and dead people, but we forget that history has shaped our life today. Think of history in relation to the present and it will make it so much less intimidating. Don't _stress_, don't overthink it, don't DOUBT yourself, just keepcalm and get a 5.
