A Monett man has been killed and another Monett man is in custody after an incident near Butterfield on Friday night. According to Danny Boyd, Barry County sheriff, authorities were alerted to a deceased person in a ditch near Butterfield. OBITUARIES | MONETT TIMES Terry J. Farris, 64, of Monett, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. He passed peacefully with his wife and son by his side. Terry was born July 22, 1956, in Joplin, Mo.
