COVID-19 VIRUS UPDATE MON 4TH MAY 2020 DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS WE REMAIN CLOSED FOR THE TIME-BEING We are really sorry that you can’t visit us at the moment, but rest assured, our grounds team have been working hard in isolation to take care of our lovely gardens and miniature models, so that everything is perfect for you to enjoy when we re-open. The good news is our amazing new Royal Crescent model should be ready to see when we do! WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WHEN WE RE-OPEN.... Importantly, don’t worry about it being crowded. We will be operating at less than 20% of our visitor capacity. We have put in place everything needed to make your visit both safe

and enjoyable.

The Model Village is outdoors and there is now a clear and compulsory one-way route to take you around the gardens, all with social distancing markers. There is a ‘no passing’ policy in place on most of the pathways but there are step-aside areas at regular intervals to enable you to overtake any slower moving visitors. Always remember though, the slower you go, the more detail you see and

experience anyway!

Initially we will be open 5 days a week, Saturday to Wednesday. There are two indoor displays to visit with one directional walk through in operation and which can be visited or bypassed easily &

safely.

Under the current distancing guidelines the cafe, 4D cinema and mini golf will have to remain closed for the time being, but these do not impact adversely on your visit to the village. Sadly, our evening illuminations will not be operational for a while because of distancing difficulties after dark. The customer serving areas all have protective screens and card payment facilities. Sorry – we cannot currently accept cash payment. As a gesture of goodwill, for a limted time, the local resident's discount will be increased to 25% and available every day we are open. Along with TQ postcodes, we are extending it to include PL and EX postcodes. Check under prices for full details. NHS employees will be admitted free (with valid photo ID) when accompanied by paying family members who will get 25% discount. Please note that this is a limited time offer so please check under prices

This model village is huge with everything in incredible detail all to scale let in this natural bowl so that when you come through the entrance you see the whole park laid out. With the miniature trees , complete details - including all of the houses have fully laid insides - tables chairs people WORKING televisions etc etc., after a while you start to feel that you are a giant rather than this is a model village. Takes a good 3 hours to really enjoy this place or more. they also have a fun 4d cinema to keep the kids entertained.
