Search and rescue charity MOAS (Migrant Offshore Aid Station) was today awarded one of Malta’s highest honors, the Medal for Service for the Republic (Midalja għall-Qadi tar-Repubblika). MOAS, a foundation registered in Malta, has rescued almost 12,000 refugees from the Mediterranean Sea since2014.
