LOCOMOTIVES AT TERTITTEN Damplokomotiv XXIXa 6 Høland-Hartmann 1925 is a two cylinder steam locomotive with a superheater engine. The experiences with locomotive nr 5, which the Urskog-Høland Railway (Urskog-Hølandsbanen) received from Hartmann in 1924, were so good that the railway decided to purchase another locomotive which was delivered the year afterwards.ABOUT URANIENBORG
However, Amundsen's new house was more than just a home; Uranienborg was also a base of operations. Here, in this beautiful house in Svartskog by the Bunnefjord, Amundsen planned and prepared some of his biggest polar feats. THE HISTORY OF TERTITTEN The Urskog-Hølandsbanen, was renamed to the Aurskog-Hølandbanen by NSB in March 1947. In local parlance, it was called “Tertitten”, which played on the fact that the line was a so-called tertiary line (tertiærbane) and the local dialect word for the bird great tit“Tertitt”.
