300,000 MARRON RELEASED INTO HARVEY DAM Pemberton’s marron hatchery is part of the State Government’s plan to improve the State’s recreational fishing industry. Crops across the region are expected to take a major hit as a result of recent unseasonal weather, with some growers reporting losses of up to 40 per cent. Temperatures dropped as low as 5.4C overnight in November following a hail storm on October 31, wreaking havoc on the agricultural industry. TOWN’S ART TRAIL PEGGED AS A GREAT IDEA The Bridgetown Art Trail has been pegged as a great idea for the town’s art community and tourism. Seven of the 18 art pieces for the trail have already been installed, with two more to be installed early next month. One of the two art pieces to be installed is a TEENAGER KILLED IN SOUTH WEST CRASH Manjimup-Bridgetown Times. Police are calling for information about a car crash that yesterday resulted in the death of a 17-year-old Bridgetown girl. The crash occurred about 3.35pm on Wednesday when her Toyota Camry sedan was travelling north on Balbarrup Road in Dingup.
