Therefore students are part of all decision making boards, councils and groups at the university and we also meet the municipality on a regular

WHY SHOULD I BE A MEMBER? Why should I be a member? By becoming a member in the Union, you take care of yourself, your free time and your studies! As a member in the Union you are represented in Malmö University’s groups and councils as well as getting personal support if you run into problems. You also get to go to seminars, clubs and work fairs. ASSOCIATIONS AND STUDENT GROUPS SUM is the Unions magazine. SUM publish 4 issues / year at around 5000 copies each. SOFA PROJECT

To help these students and alleviate the housing shortage, the Student Union Malmö organize ”the sofa project“. We need your help to help our new friends. We need you and everyone you know in Malmö to help us provide these students with a temporary accommodation. As a sofa host you provide a sofa / bed in your own home for a few days /

medlemmar.

KÅREN ÄR ENGAGERAD NÄR DU INTE KAN VARA DET Kårens huvuduppgift är att arbeta med studentinflytande och utbildningsbevakning, vilket innebär att Kåren sitter med i alla nämnder, grupper och organ på Malmö universitet.

KÅREN ÄR STOR NÄR DU KÄNNER DIG LITEN För vissa studenter är utbildningen ingen solskenshistoria utan lika delar arbete och krångel. Kåren kan berätta om dina rättigheter och hjälpa dig om du hamnar i trubbel. Ju fler vi är desto starkare
