MAC MINI AS A “PORTABLE DESKTOP”? tjluoma December 27, 2018, 9:50pm #2. You can definitely use the 10.5 iPad Pro as a display screen for the Mac mini, either using Duet Display or Luna Display, or regular ol’ VNC. The Mac mini is very portable, all you need is the Mac mini itself and its power cord, then your iPad (and presumably some kind of external keyboard). DOES SIDECAR RECOGNIZE THE IPAD PRO MAGIC KEYBOARD Title says it all. Maddeningly, you can’t use a Magic Keyboard’s trackpad in Sidecar—at least on Catalina/iPadOS 14. The input just isn’t recognized in the Sidecar “desktop.” If any brave soul out there is running Big Sur while owning an iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard and happens to have the time to test this let us know? I may be willing to switch to Big Sur if it works! MPU TALKANNOUNCEMENTS AND HELPBETA TOWNCATEGORIESISMHTERMS OFSERVICEHARDWARE
