LYNN CANYON PARK
Lynn Canyon Park & Suspension Bridge. Lynn Canyon Park officially opened to the public in 1912 and has been a popular destination among tourists and local residents of Lynn Valley ever since. The main attraction, the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge towers 50 meters (160ft) over the canyon and is part of the Baden Powell Trail. LYNN CANYON PARK INFORMATION Lynn Canyon Park has grown from 12 acres in its early years to 617 acres today. Lynn Canyon Park contains second growth forest with most of the trees aged approximately 80 to 100 years old. Lynn Canyon Park features a suspension bridge that sways 50 meters above the canyon. It was built privately in 1912 when the park opened. The 30 Foot Pool is on route to the Pipe Bridge which crosses the canyon and leads to the top of Lynn Valley Road. If the Pipe Bridge is where you are headed, be prepared for a long climb up a wooden stairwell to the top of the canyon. Norvan Falls is 14km round trip on a fairly flat trail that follows Lynn Creek for most of the way. It begins at Lynn Headwaters Regional Park and ends after a 7km walk through the wilderness. The first 4km follows a well groomed trail along the river. There are a few side trails that will take you down to the water if you have time for adetour.

HIKE TO THE PEAK OF MOUNT SEYMOUR Hike to the Peak of Mount Seymour. There are countless things to see and do during the summer months in Vancouver, BC. A favourite of many locals is hiking to the peak of Mount Seymour in North Vancouver. It’s a tough climb and not for the faint of heart but it can be done at any pace and the terrain isn’t extremely difficult to maneuver. Norvan Falls is 14km round trip on a fairly flat trail that follows Lynn Creek for most of the way. It begins at Lynn Headwaters Regional Park and ends after a 7km walk through the wilderness. The first 4km follows a well groomed trail along the river. There are a few side trails that will take you down to the water if you have time for adetour.
