-------------------------JUNE UPDATE:
Never fear, LUGOD and your friendly local free software users are all still here! But as quarantine measures have continued we have not had a meeting yet and have no in-person event planned for June, as our usual public meeting spaces are still closed. Our Facebook page and group are still active, our IRC channel is still active for live chat, and our mailing list is available for use any time. See the links in the sidebar to the left for more information, and we'll update everyone when we can meet in person again! If you're interested in an online get-together via video chat, please contact an officer by email or chat with us (links in the sidebar) to let us know and we'll get something rolling! COVID-19 STATEMENT, MARCH 2020: After discussion and out of an abundance of caution, LUGOD meetings have been suspended until May, including our planned March 16th GNOME talk. We hope to resume for the May 5th social - we'll announce as we get closer to the date based on the local public health situation. See the recent post to Vox-Announce and Vox mailing lists for moreinformation.
LUGOD isn't going away, though - while we wait for the all-clear you can still chat with us on IRC, on the mailing lists, or find us on Facebook! (See the sidebar for links.) Until next time we meet, -Tim and the LUGOD officersGeek
