FUEL CONSUMPTION AND EMISSIONS The Lufthansa Group has defined demanding CO 2 reduction targets: the carbon footprint should be reduced by half by 2030 compared with 2019, with carbon neutrality the objective for 2050. To reduce CO 2 emissions, the Lufthansa Group is consistently pursuing a four-pillar strategy.It comprises technological, operational and infrastructural measures as well as supplementary economic instruments. NEUE KULANZANGEBOTE FÜR VIELFLIEGER: 2021 ZUSÄTZLICHE As a special offer, status miles for Frequent Travellers and Senators will be automatically doubled, regardless of booking class. For the first time, all status members will also earn double HON Circle miles for First and Business Class flights.
