ACADEMICS
Since its founding, the LREI experience has been grounded in progressive principles that shape the design of program in each of our divisions. These principles place students at the center of their learning experiences, call on us to narrow the distance between the world around students and their school experiences, and engage learners in authentic problem solving on a daily basis. Our mission driven approach informs all aspects of our 14-year experience.*

A very special note from one of our kindergarten families 🙏@chaseweideman #Repost : Today, the world gained one more kindergartener. And we are ecstatically proud of him. He was brave, and polite, and kind. It was amazing. Returning to school felt so good, so FAMILIAR. We walked out of that building 6 months ago for spring break expecting to be back in two weeks (maybe four. Bc COVID was just starting to become a thing). I didn’t expect to be so happy to just BE in there again. Like, things are gonna be alright. It may not last all year, who knows, but I tell ya I am SO proud of our little school. The amount of work the educators and faculty and staff put in to plan, and are putting in to execute a successful day of socially distanced kindergarten, OUTSIDE, in lower Manhattan, is just freaking immense. Bravo 👏🏼 👏🏼*
