ABOUT MY NEW BOOK, ‘THE NEW PARISIENNE’! Here she is! _The New Parisienne: the Women & Ideas Shaping Paris _ is a book of honest stories about identity, representation, ambition, struggle, craft and creation. It features women I know personally and others I have long admired. It tackles the myth of the Parisian woman and presents an alternative narrative. It is a book I am deeply proud to have written and tremendously grateful to have been given the opportunity to produce. It is currently available for pre-order everywhere and will be released on JULY 7, 2020. With the rights, representation, and lives of women all the more firmly anchored in today’s public discourse, my book, as I had imagined it, should add to the discussion. I divided the interviews and profiles into sections: The Activists, The Creators, The Storytellers, the Tastemakers, The Disruptors, and The Visionaries. At the end of each feature, the _Parisienne_s provide some of their favorite women-run businesses in the city, their favorite places to go with…Continue Reading
