Click Access & Permissions > Edit security details. Toggle through all tabs and tick the boxes for settings and features that the staff member will be permitted to access. SAVING PDFS TO A MATTER To save PDFs to a LEAP matter: Open any PDF from outside of LEAP. Click on in the side panel. If the LEAP icon is not displaying, click on More Tools and Add the icon under Add-ons. Click on the toolbar. The Save PDF to LEAP window appears. Highlight the matter and then click Select. The PDF will appear under Correspondence in the matter. SCANNING DOCUMENTS TO LEAP After the scanning is complete you will see a new PDF document in the matter’s correspondence list. You can also directly scan to a matter in LEAP if your scanner’s software supports the ability to scan to an application (referred to as a scan profile by some vendors). ABOUT COST RECOVERIES/DISBURSEMENTS A cost recovery is an accounting entry that is used to recover the value of an expense. Cost recoveries are usually invoiced to your client (s). Examples of cost recoveries include: Photocopying. Courier fees. Agents fees. Sundries. Generating and updatingCANNOT LOGIN

Click Save For Later to save a reconciliation before completion and return to it later to continue with reconciliation.; Never place an amount as an addition that isn’t directly related to an actual transaction on the bank statement to clear the variance. LEAP OPTIONS OUTLOOK EXPLAINED LEAP options through Microsoft Outlook. Click the arrow to display the LEAP options. All contacts from LEAP will be cleared each time Outlook is closed and re-opened. Click Clean Now to clean manually. All suggested contacts from LEAP will be cleared. This means that email addresses will not pop-up automatically in the recipient column.ARCHIVING A MATTER
Bulk Archive Matters. Hold Ctrl and select the matters on the Matter List. Once the matters are all highlighted, right-click and select Archive # Matters. The Archive Management window will open. APPLICATION SETTINGS Controlling staff access to LEAP functions. Click Firm > under Staff > Members. A list of your existing staff will display. Click the staff member. Click Access & Permissions > Edit security details. Toggle through all tabs and tick the boxes for settings and features that the staff member will be permitted to access. SAVING PDFS TO A MATTER To save PDFs to a LEAP matter: Open any PDF from outside of LEAP. Click on in the side panel. If the LEAP icon is not displaying, click on More Tools and Add the icon under Add-ons. Click on the toolbar. The Save PDF to LEAP window appears. Highlight the matter and then click Select. The PDF will appear under Correspondence in the matter. LEAP OPTIONS OUTLOOK EXPLAINED LEAP options through Microsoft Outlook. Click the arrow to display the LEAP options. All contacts from LEAP will be cleared each time Outlook is closed and re-opened. Click Clean Now to clean manually. All suggested contacts from LEAP will be cleared. This means that email addresses will not pop-up automatically in the recipient column.CANNOT LOGIN
Resolution. Click Ctrl + R to open the Run window. Type 'services.msc' into the run window and click OK. The services window will open. Locate "LEAP Office Express Net Client" and check the status of the service. Once complete ensure the service is 'Running'. Open LEAP and login.
