In October 2018 LPEAC made amendments to the LPEAC Rules 2004 introducing a variety of changes. The provisions in relation to practising certificate categories are contained in LPEAC Rule 3B.

MANDATORY CPD

3. The MCPD Scheme All individual legal practitioners MUST complete 10 units of CPD activity (which includes the 4 required units) over the course of the CPD year (1 April – 31 March) as a condition of every Practising Certificate issued to an individual in South Australia.
