GIUSEPPE UNCINI. BALANCED REALITY : LA GALLERIA NAZIONALE Different stages of Giuseppe Uncini’s journey are shown through fifty-seven sculptures and thirty drawings created between 1957 and 2008. The verification of a half-century of work, based on primary ways of building, is first of all a return towards the origins, to a hometown with the most unique historic center that has a clear medieval structure.

A WAVE OF LIGHT The Galleria Nazionale’s sizable collection of works by Giacomo Balla owes to the enlightened generosity of his daughters, appreciative of the museum’s effort as early as 1971 to organize a major retrospective of their father’s work, which catalyzed newfound interest in Balla’s contribution to half a century of Italian art and his centrality to the Futurist movement. MIMMO ROTELLA MANIFESTO : LA GALLERIA NAZIONALE In the year of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mimmo Rotella, the Galleria Nazionale, the Mimmo Rotella Foundation and the Mimmo Rotella Institute of Milan celebrate the Italian artist with the exhibition Mimmo Rotella Manifesto curated by Germano Celant with Antonella Soldaini. 160 works, set up in the Salone Centrale, interpret the exhibition space as a vast internal square surrounded GIACOMO BALLA. A WAVE OF LIGHT The Galleria Nazionale’s sizable collection of works by Giacomo Balla owes to the enlightened generosity of his daughters, appreciative of the museum’s effort as early as 1971 to organize a major retrospective of their father’s work, which catalyzed newfound interest in Balla’s contribution to half a century of Italian art and his centrality to the Futurist movement. arrow drop search cross HTTPS://LAGALLERIANAZIONALE.COM/ * home
