that involvement.
THE ADVANTAGES OF REMOTE WORKING Background. This case study was produced for the BIG Assist programme.. The LGBT Consortium is a UK-wide infrastructure organisation supporting approximately 250 LGBT initiatives. AVOIDING JOB SUBSTITUTION Do volunteers provide value that employees simply can't match, or is volunteering an excuse for cheap labour? Although traditionally associated with charities and voluntary groups, volunteers are now generally accepted in any not-for-profit setting. HOW TO DEVELOP A MONITORING AND EVALUATION FRAMEWORK Developing a monitoring and evaluation framework helps clarify which pieces of information to collect to evidence your story of change. It is good practice to include people who will be collecting the data when you develop your framework. You could also involve beneficiaries, volunteers, trustees, partner organisations or funders. INSURANCE AND VOLUNTEERS All groups and organisations that involve volunteers should consider what types of insurance they need to put in place to cover them forthat involvement.
