Get sharp and stay sharp! Yes yes, it’s true that we sharpen knives. And yes, we’ll probably get your dull or broken babies sharper than they’ve ever been before... but did you know we can also teach you how to sharpen them yourselves, keep them sharp, and teach you how to use them properly so they don’t get dull quickly? It’s true! Check out our website to get yourself booked into our Cut Like a Chef classes and our Sharpening Classes! “There is no knowledge that is not power” - Thunder God, Raiden. Gyoza super fan @foodscoutinc sent us this great photo of the Yamada Uchidashi Hammered Steel Gyoza Pan in action. Here is a few words from him "When I saw this pan, it was love at first sight. . . But did I really need another single use pan? Was the eye roll from my family, for walking in with more kitchen stuff worth it? . . . yes." Also, it could be great for tortillas? #hammered #gyoza Was this review helpful?0

We just got a shipment of @yu_kurosaki_'s Masakage Shimo line. Made in @tkv_info, these beauts are a full carbon blade with a unique suminagashi pattern. Don't sleep on these, they tend to disappear quickly. Read all about @knife.nerd's love for this line by following the link in our blog. . . . . #damascussteel #suminagashi #japaneseknife #japaneseknives #madeinjapan #chef #chefgear #kitchen #kitchenknife #kitchendecor #cheflife #kitchenlife #foodie #cooking #nakiri #gyuto #masakage #takefu #kurosakiknives #carbonsteel Was this review helpful?0

You’re forgiven if you’ve never heard of Masashi Yamamoto-san. His knives aren’t exactly common. After leaving his family’s knife factory, he opened up his first real workshop at his mom’s house - but look at him now! All grown up and moved out. Extraordinary knives hand forged using some beautifully finished Damascus steel which are super easy to sharpen and care for! Ever used one? Life changing! Koi Sujihiki $419, Kuroshu 210mm gyuto $665, Shiroshu 150mm petty $445 Was this review helpful?0
