May 1, 2021. Chicken soup with spinach, lemon juice, carrots, kholrabi and dill is comforting and fast to make. It is light, simple and quick to prepare soup full of healthy vegetables, lean protein coming from chicken breast and egg yolk. This low fat soup is seasoned with dill and lemon juice. POTATOES IN TOMATO SAUCE Instructions. Fry onions in olive oil until soft. Add garlic, potatoes, tomato sauce and enough water to cover the potatoes. Season with oregano, salt and pepper. Cook for about 1/2 hour or until potatoes are cooked through, stirring from time to time. Serve Potatoes in Tomato Sauce immediately. Store leftovers in the fridgefor the next day.
VEGAN CRAZY DOUGH
The yeast will become foamy and start expanding. Put the yeast mixture together with remaining ingredients in a bowl of your food processor or mixer. Mix well until you get soft dough, similar to pizza dough. If the dough seems too dry (depending on the kind of flour you’re using), add a little bit more of milk or water. CRAZY DOUGH FOR EVERYTHING Put the yeast mixture together with all other ingredients in a bowl of your mixer or food processor. Mix well. You should get soft dough, similar to pizza dough. In a large saucepan, fry pancetta in olive oil. Add onion, carrots, celery and garlic and saute for 3 minutes. Add mixed vegetables, beans, vegetable broth, chopped tomatoes, bay leaf, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer until vegetables are soft. Add zucchini and pasta. BEEF EGG FOO YOUNG WITH THICK GRAVY To prepare Egg Foo Young omelet, lightly beat eggs. Mix 1 tsp cornstarch with 2 tsp water until smooth. Add to the eggs. Whisk thoroughly. Add julienned (finely sliced) vegetables, leftover beef, garlic, sugar, oil, salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Heat a frying pan with a little bit of oil in it. Add 1/4 of the mixture to the pan. STOVE TOP STUFFED PORK CHOPS Instructions. Prepare stove top stuffing according to directions. Season pork chops lightly with salt and black pepper. Add the chops to the frying pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side. A minute before chops are done, add garlic to the pan. Place chops into an oiled baking dish. Instructions. CAKE: Mix all cake ingredients with a spoon. Pour into oiled 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) pan and bake in 350 F (175 C) oven for 30 - 40 minutes or until center of the cake is done. While Do Nothing Cake ( Tornado Cake ) is still hot, poke it with a skewer to help frosting soak into cake. Immediately pour frosting over it. HOMEMADE CAKE MIX RECIPE 1/4 cup (57 g) butter, softened. 1 cup milk. optional: use 1 more egg yolk to make the cake extra moist; add some lemon juice or zest for flavor. Place mix into a 2 quart (2 liters) bowl. Make a well in center of mix. Add eggs, vanilla, butter and milk to the mixture. Beat mixture 1 minute with electric mixer at low speed.CHERRY DUMP CAKE
Instructions. Dump cherry pie filling into greased and floured 9×13 inch baking pan. Put the flour, baking powder, sugar, eggs, butter, salt, lemon zest and vanilla into a bowl of food processor and mix until combined. Dump the mixture iinto the pan over cherry filling. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 1 hour. ITALIAN BÉCHAMEL SAUCE (WHITE SAUCE) White Sauce is originally an Italian Renaissance recipe which became popular by its French name: Béchamel Sauce. When I first learned cooking White Sauce, I had a simple Italian recipe stating that you need equal amounts of flour and butter, like 50 g OLD FASHIONED BREAD PUDDING RECIPE Instructions. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) . Scald the milk, add the butter and pour hot liquid over the bread cubes. Soak about 5 minutes then add sugar, eggs, whiskey and spices. Add the raisins. Pour mixture into buttered baking dish. HONEY AMARETTI COOKIES RECIPE Ingredients: 3 egg whites a pinch of salt 180 g (6 oz) honey 90 g (3 oz) almonds; blanched, toasted and ground 90 g (3 oz) hazelnuts; toasted and ground BAKED PANCAKES WITH COTTAGE CHEESE Pour approximately 3 tablespoons of batter into the pan, swirling to coat the bottom of the pan evenly. Cook each side until the golden brown (about 2 minutes each side). FILLING: In a bowl, mix eggs and sugar until foamy. Add cottage cheese, lemon rind and vanilla extract. CIVIL WAR MACARONI AND CHEESE When macaroni are done, and they absorb most of the milk, add butter, parmesan cheese, pepper and nutmeg to the pot. Stir until butter and cheese melt. Transfer to a buttered baking dish (volume 4 cups or 1 liter). Combine bread crumbs with paprika and sprinkle over macaroni. Bake Civil War Macaroni and Cheese in 350 F (175C) oven for about 20 KREMSNITE (CUSTARD SLICES RECIPE, CREMESCHNITTE) Instructions. Mix cornstarch, flour, egg yolks, 12 Tbsp sugar, vanilla, rum and a few tablespoons cold milk. Boil remaining milk with water in a double boiler. Add egg mixture to milk and continue to cook until thick, stirring very frequently. Beat egg whites until stiff.Add 8
SCAMPI BUZARA
Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Briefly sauté scampi, then add garlic and tomato puree. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add wine and cognac. Boil slowly for about 10 minutes.
