OPEN NIGHT » KING'S HIGH SCHOOL Open Night. Enrolments Open Night. A warm welcome is extended to all prospective students and their families. At 6:30pm the Rector will deliver a short address in the Performing Arts Centre, followed by Music and Drama performances. ATHLETICS » KING'S HIGH SCHOOL Athletics is strong at King's, with a large number of boys representing the school at provincial, South Island and National level on an annual basis. The King's athletics team is managed by TIC, Mr Grant Koedyk and Mr. Geoff Anderson, an Old Boy and accomplished middle distance runner. RUGBY » KING'S HIGH SCHOOL Rugby. Rugby has been part of King’s High School since its inception in 1936. The King’s Lions' Rugby Club playing philosophy is to attack using speed and skill with or without the ball.
