Kent Police released an update at about 9:45 p.m. Friday, June 4 that NiAni Rashaard had been located. “We are happy to inform the community that through the work of KENT OFFICER FIRED FIVE SHOTS AT DRIVER WHO RAMMED HIS A Kent Police officer fired five shots that struck the windshield of a stolen vehicle driven by a man who reportedly rammed the officer’s police SUV. SHORTAGE OF TRUCK DRIVERS CAUSING FUEL SHORTAGES AT GAS Sheri Call, executive vice president of the Washington Trucking Association, says the shortage of professional commercial truck drivers is due to drivers aging out and retiring in greater numbers than are coming into the industry. “Beyond fuel deliveries, this is putting the continuity of the nation’s supply chain at risk,” Callsaid.
