As no one knows what the “new normal” might look like, I would suggest you to try to figure out what you with the resources you’ve got can make it as bearable as possible! Don’t forget that it’s okay to reach out and ask for help.\n

2. REMEMBER THAT IT’S VERY POSSIBLE TO HAVE ICE CREAM FOR DINNER\n
When the external world is going through a shit show, you do not need the extra stress of putting even more unnecessary pressure on yourself. This is solely a time to surrender and make sure you give yourself space to allow things to be the way they are. Maybe you lost your job or you’re trying to figure out struggling to find the motivation to work from home? Whatever transition you’re going through is enough itself! Ditch the idea of having to optimize this time spent at home trying to be as productive as possible, if you’re not feeling it – you don’t have to. So, go and enjoy a ben&jerry for dinner or skip the online yoga for the day if that’s what you need.\n

3. REMEMBER TO MAINTAIN YOUR SOCIAL INTERACTIONS\n
Just because we’re social distancing doesn’t mean we don’t have to cut all social interactions off! A certain amount of social interactions is crucial for our well-being. We just need to be a little more innovative with HOW we decide to spend time together. Move the 3óclock coffee at work or your time spent with friends outside of the “office” to a virtual location instead. It might be challenging to adjust at first but the rewards are always worth it.\n
The New York Times previously published an article on how quarantine is a true catalyst for coming up with creative ideas in terms of socializing. People are currently holding birthday parties, broadcasting D.J sets and establishing quarantine movie nights on Twitter for “virtual companionship”. The sky is really the limit when it comes to social gatherings in 2020.\n

4. REMEMBER THE SMALL THINGS THAT PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE\n
Don’t forget the little things that make you feel good. A daily cup of thé in the morning? Turning off the phone after work to ease distractions? The daily virtual lunch with your colleagues? A walk in the afternoon? When work and free time kind of melts into one – it’s always a good idea to have a routine to fall back on. If you feel like you’re lacking the motivation but is eager to keep it up? Check with your team members or friends, most of us are going through similar challenges so why not help each other out by sending reminders to one another or decide on doing activities together.\n

Jag har genom platsoberoende uppdrag dom senaste två åren arbetat på resande fot! Från bergstoppar i Georgien till svängiga nattåg genom Kazakstan. Under denna långa resa har jag därför också hunnit samla på mig en hel del erfarenheter kring hur man kan få remote work att funka för sig själv. Idag är jag stationerad i ett 30+ varmt Bali, där ingen dag är den andra lik. Här har stränder stängt ner, likaså alla caféer och gym och precis som i resten av världen har ingen någon susning om vad som väntar. Det är inte alltid lätt att navigera i en skakig värld och det var också en av anledningarna till att vi valde att hålla detta webinar – för alla er arbetsgivare, managers och HR-personer där ute som ska leda ett team i karantän och på distans. Sitter inte på alla svar men något jag åtminstone har är erfarenhet av just distansarbete. För er som missade webinaret har jag samlat alla frågor och de svar jag gav nedan. Jag tycker det ni redan gör låter klockrent! Jag tycker definitivt att ni ska fortsätta anordna organiserade virtuella möten (det är bara fantasin som sätter stop för vad man kan införa) inom teamet eller kanske teamen emellan. Det skulle kunna vara en “brown paper bag” lunch session? Eller kanske en digital AW’s? Eller varför inte ta användning av alla “icebreaker” appar som faktiskt finns där ute för att främja diskussioner. Möjligheterna är oändliga! Och glöm inte att det är dina medarbetare som sitter på svaren! Vad är det de behöver för att känna tillhörighet? Ett tips är att anordna en gemensam workshop där ni brainstormar kring aktiviteter som ökar känslan av tillhörighet under denna period.\n
Som svar på andra frågan: Jag har själv ingen aktivitet i åtanke men jag skulle rekommendera er att göra en rolig grej av det, där teamet gemensamt (genom exempelvis en online workshop) kommer fram till roliga aktiviteter som går att genomföra virtuellt.\n

Jag skulle säga att möjligheterna är oändliga när kommer till att styra upp möten online! Det ger dig möjlighet att facilitera på ett sätt där alla får komma tills tals. Dels skulle det kunna se ut så att du ger frågan till en specifik person för att du ska ha kontroll över vem som får prata. Det som är positivt med zoom exempelvis är att allas mikrofoner automatiskt är avstängda tills att du ger tillåtelse att sätta på deltagarnas mikrofoner. Ett annat alternativ är mentimeter där du kan ställa frågor / skapa Q&A, polls där folk får rösta – och det sker via en gemensam länkoch är anonymt.

Det använder vi själva på Jobylon och jag personligen iallafall tycker att det är ett fantastiskt och inkluderande verktyg för att skapa intersektionella möten där fler än en persons perspektiv enkelt lyfts fram. När man håller inkluderade samtal så krävs det att man är uppmärksam kring hur ens medarbetare föredrar att kommunicera. Se till att förbereda personer som du vill ge mer utrymme till så att dom inte upplever att dom blir ställda motväggen.

Zoom tycker jag fungerar utmärkt, mycket bättre än google hangouts när man ska arrangera större möten med många delaktiga! Framförallt om alla ska ha på sina kameror, vilket jag föredrar just för att det ökar känslan av samhörighet. Som jag nämnde i tidigare svar så tror jag också att möten över länk faktiskt kan ge bättre förutsättningar för interaktioner online och ger DIG större möjligheter i din roll som facilitator.\n

4. HUR ARBETAR MAN EFFEKTIVT?\n
\n
Den universella frågan! Jag tror inte att det finns ett svar för alla, men ska försöka vara så generell som möjligt. Först och främst – struktur, struktur, struktur! Något som jag har känt att jag saknat under de år jag arbetat remote är den dagliga high-fiven. Även om mitt team såklart arbetar hårt för att ge alla en daglig dos av uppskattning. Att arbeta hemifrån sätter mycket press på sig själv och allt är upp till dig – ju svårare du har för att fokusera, desto viktigare är det att du sätter upp ett tydligt ramverk för dig själv.\n
_Här kommer två konkreta tips:_\n
\n * Separera området där du jobbar verses där du vilar. Ju svårare du har för att fokusera desto viktigare är det att du sätter ett tydligt ramverk. Bete dig precis som att du ska gå till kontoret, dvs sätt på dig din kontorsoutfit”. Gå en runda runtkvarteret.
\n * Se till att upprätthålla din morgonrutin, det är lätt att hamna i obalans när man “skippar” något steg.\n
\n

5. KÄNNER DU DIG SOM EN DEL AV TEAMET FASTÄN ATT DU JOBBAR REMOTE? OCH HUR GÖR DIN CHEF FÖR ATT DU SKA KÄNNA SÅ?\n
\n
En av fördelarna för min del är att jag hoppade på Jobylon-tåget när vi bara var 7 personer, så jag har organiskt växt tillsammans med teamet (idag är vi 20 personer) och hunnit lära känna alla dom gånger jag har kommit hem mellan varven. Jag har under stor del av min karriär jobbat remote så har inte heller någon kontrast attjämföra med.
\n
Min chef och jag har stående veckomöten och 1:1 där vi checkar läget och ser till att alla är fortsatt glada. Vårt marketing-team har också dagliga check-ins där vi inte bara pratar jobb utan också kollar läget – en måttlig mängd av småprat skulle jag säga är viktigt i tider som dessa! Många pratar om att det är lätt att “överkommunicera” men jag är övertygad om att det är nyckelingrediens i att lyckas med sitt distansarbete. Det finns inget som heter att överkommunicera tycker jag – mycket av vår icke-verbala interaktion faller ju bort så ju skickligare vi blir på att kommunicera, desto mindre meckigt blir det att arbeta hemifrån. Något som har hjälpt mig att känna samhörighet trots distans är att det finns ett utrymme för transparens, det känns enkelt för mig att våga vara öppen med hur jag mår, även om det inte nödvändigtvis är jobbrelaterat.\n

6. HUR HÅLLER MAN DEN SOCIALA SAMVARON MED SINA KOLLEGOR LEVANDE?\n
\n
Kommunikation är A och O när vi jobbar på distans – våga ta det en gång extra än en gång för lite! Dessutom tycker jag att transparens är så viktigt, oavsett om du är chef eller anställd. Det är så vi connectar människor emellan. Vi går igenom en tid där alla sitter i samma båt, det du upplevelser – upplever alla andra. Inte bara i sverige, utan i världen. Vad får dina medarbetare att må bra och vad känner de avsaknad av just nu? Och hur kan vi lösa det på bästa möjliga sätt? Många tycker exempelvis att skiftet från kontor till hemmajobb är utmanande, det skulle kunna vara en aspekt att lyfta. Det skulle kunna ske i en organiserad form eller genom er dagliga kommunikation, beroende på storlek av team såklart.\n
\n
7. HUR SKA MAN TÄNKA OM FAMILJEMEDLEMMAR OCKSÅ ÄR HEMMA?\n
\n
Kanske kan man ha en diskussion om det och göra det tydligt för alla vad DU behöver för att få det att fungera? Läget är långt ifrån optimalt för majoriteten av oss, kan du försöka förmedla det på ett sätt så att alla där hemma är medvetna om vad ni behöver från varandra för att få det att funka? Ingen kan veta vad du tänker innan du berättat hur du känner.\n

8. HUR KAN MAN FÅ EN LAGOM NIVÅ AV KOMMUNIKATION?\n
\n
Har du redan allt inlagt i kalendern? En väg att gå skulle kunna vara att be dina kollegor kika där innan de börjar bombardera dig med frågor, eller ha en lucka varje dag (ex varje dag mellan 13-14) där ditt team har möjlighet att reacha ut. Min chef och jag har exempelvis weeklys vilket betyder att vi sparar allt som inte är super brådskande till veckomötet för att kunna checka av det då. Så på vis sparar vi massa tid och fram-och-tillbaka hoppande.\n
\n
9. VAD BEHÖVER DU FÖR ATT JOBBA EFFEKTIVT FRÅN DIN ARBETSGIVARE?\n
\n
Först och främst tydliga instruktioner, jag jobbar dessutom i en annan tidszon vilket betyder att den information vi skickar till varandra måste vara så pass tydligt att alla i teamet kan sätta sig och börja jobba på något nytt utan att behöva hamna i ett mellanläge där vi inte kan arbeta innan den andra personen har vaknat. Annars förlorar man extremt mycket tid! Det här är såklart en process och ju mer man lär känna sitt team och deras sätt att kommunicera, desto lättare blir det. Tydlighet är nyckeln!\n
Också, peppande meddelanden. Att min arbetsgivare tar sig en extra minut att bara kolla läget – även de små detaljerna gör stor skillnad för mig och gör att jag känner mig mer som en del av teamet vilket i sin tur sporrar min motivation.\n

10. HAR DU NÅGRA SNABBA TIPS PÅ HUR JAG SOM TEAM MANAGER DAGLIGEN KAN PEPPA MITT TEAM SOM SITTER I KARANTÄN OCH JOBBAR HEMIFRÅN?\n

Mitt bästa tips är att fråga ditt team vad de behöver för att må bra och för att kunna genomföra ett så bra jobb som möjligt.\n

11. HUR SER EN “VANLIG” REMOTE ARBETSDAG UT FÖR DIG?\n
\n
Nu sitter jag precis som alla andra i karantän så, inte speciellt händelserikt, haha! Brukar börja mina dagar med yoga/meditation (är ändå baserad på Bali så måste leva upp till ryktet). Bor med två andra tjejer som båda driver egna företag, så ibland brukar vi ha gemensamma work-sessions där vi beställer massa mat och kaffe och arbetar tillsammans en eftermiddag (som ett co-working space fast karantän-style). Emellanåt går jag upp till köket för att koka extra kaffe. Vanligtvis brukar jag leta upp ett arbetsvänligt café eller co-working space och arbeta därifrån!\n
\n
12. HUR KAN JAG HJÄLPA MINA ANSTÄLLDA ATT UPPRÄTTHÅLLA NÅGON FORM AV WORK-LIFE-BALANCE?\n
\n
Rutiner behöver inte ruckas på alls bara för att vi jobbar remote. Nästan allt vi gör IRL kan vi göra online! Låt oss säga att man har som rutin att gå till gymmet före eller under lunchen – varför inte göra det online istället? Kanske finns det någon i teamet som råkar vara en utbildad PT (nu råkar vi ha typ 3 stycken PT i på Jobylon haha) som skulle vilja hålla ett pass? Det finns hur massvis med digitala träningsmöjligheter och gym som har börjat erbjuda onlinepass. Utgå från den rutin du redan upprätthåller och se om du kan göra det online istället!\n
\n
14. VAD ÄR DET BÄSTA MED ATT JOBBA REMOTE?\n
\n
För mig går det djupare än att jag har ett jobb jag kan genomföra platsoberoende. Det handlar om att vakna upp på morgonen och känna att jag valt en livsstil som tillför glädje i mitt liv. Som inte tvingar mig att leva upp till en idé om hur mitt liv “borde” se ut eller att jag försöker passa in i en box som inte är menad för mig. Allt är “handmade by people”, allt vi ser är framtaget av människan och därför tycker jag också det är viktigt att våga ifrågasätta saker, exempelvis sättet vi väljer att arbeta på. För mig är det här ett sånt självklart val att jobba från valfri plats istället för ett kontor men många arbetsgivare där ute har fortfarande. Det kanske är exakt det dina anställda behöver för att göra ett ännu bättre jobb och det ökar såklart chansen att dessa medarbetare kommer stanna ännu längre och känna sig ännu merdedikerad.

15. HUR HITTAR DU DIN MOTIVATION?\n
\n
Eventuellt dåligt svar men tror det är lite inbyggt i den jag är som person. Jag har drivit eget, pluggat på distans och haft majoriteten av mina arbetsgivare på delvis distans. Självdisciplin kommer därför väldigt naturligt för mig och jag har haft många år på mig att utforska vilka redskap jag behöver för att jobba effektivt. Dessutom sporrar mitt arbete mig, jag älskar “try and see” mentaliteten som genomsyrar hur vi arbetar på Jobylon och att galna idéer är välkomna samt att det finns utrymme att själv forma sin arbetsroll. Vi känner oss själva bäst, vi vet ofta vad vi behöver – det handlar mer om att ge oss själva det utrymmet att få utforska det. Och lägga ut en plan för dig själv kring hur du vill att en dag ska se ut så att du mår så bra och är så effektiv som möjligt.\n

Is your home office not ideal? You’re certainly not alone! Striving for things to be perfect will only stress you out. It’s important to remember when you’re turning on the computer at the kitchen desk (or in your pajamas in bed?) with kids screaming or dogs barking that, we’re in this together. With the risk of sounding too cliche – don’t forget that the majority of the world’s population has shifted to remote work which means that, most people are new at this too! This is not a time to blame yourself for having a hard time surrendering to your new reality, what we need from ourselves is patience and self-compassion.\n
As no one knows what the “new normal” might look like, I would suggest you to try to figure out what you with the resources you’ve got can make it as bearable as possible! Don’t forget that it’s okay to reach out and ask for help.\n
\n
2. REMEMBER THAT IT’S VERY POSSIBLE TO HAVE ICE CREAM FOR DINNER\n
When the external world is going through a shit show, you do not need the extra stress of putting even more unnecessary pressure on yourself. This is solely a time to surrender and make sure you give yourself space to allow things to be the way they are. Maybe you lost your job or you’re trying to figure out struggling to find the motivation to work from home? Whatever transition you’re going through is enough itself! Ditch the idea of having to optimize this time spent at home trying to be as productive as possible, if you’re not feeling it – you don’t have to. So, go and enjoy a ben&jerry for dinner or skip the online yoga for the day if that’s what you need.\n

3. REMEMBER TO MAINTAIN YOUR SOCIAL INTERACTIONS\n
Just because we’re social distancing doesn’t mean we don’t have to cut all social interactions off! A certain amount of social interactions is crucial for our well-being. We just need to be a little more innovative with HOW we decide to spend time together. Move the 3óclock coffee at work or your time spent with friends outside of the “office” to a virtual location instead. It might be challenging to adjust at first but the rewards are always worth it.\n
The New York Times previously published an article on how quarantine is a true catalyst for coming up with creative ideas in terms of socializing. People are currently holding birthday parties, broadcasting D.J sets and establishing quarantine movie nights on Twitter for “virtual companionship”. The sky is really the limit when it comes to social gatherings in 2020.\n

4. REMEMBER THE SMALL THINGS THAT PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE\n
Don’t forget the little things that make you feel good. A daily cup of thé in the morning? Turning off the phone after work to ease distractions? The daily virtual lunch with your colleagues? A walk in the afternoon? When work and free time kind of melts into one – it’s always a good idea to have a routine to fall back on. If you feel like you’re lacking the motivation but is eager to keep it up? Check with your team members or friends, most of us are going through similar challenges so why not help each other out by sending reminders to one another or decide on doing activities together.\n

Jag har genom platsoberoende uppdrag dom senaste två åren arbetat på resande fot! Från bergstoppar i Georgien till svängiga nattåg genom Kazakstan. Under denna långa resa har jag därför också hunnit samla på mig en hel del erfarenheter kring hur man kan få remote work att funka för sig själv. Idag är jag stationerad i ett 30+ varmt Bali, där ingen dag är den andra lik. Här har stränder stängt ner, likaså alla caféer och gym och precis som i resten av världen har ingen någon susning om vad som väntar. Det är inte alltid lätt att navigera i en skakig värld och det var också en av anledningarna till att vi valde att hålla detta webinar – för alla er arbetsgivare, managers och HR-personer där ute som ska leda ett team i karantän och på distans. Jag tycker det ni redan gör låter klockrent! Jag tycker definitivt att ni ska fortsätta anordna organiserade virtuella möten (det är bara fantasin som sätter stop för vad man kan införa) inom teamet eller kanske teamen emellan. Det skulle kunna vara en “brown paper bag” lunch session? Eller kanske en digital AW’s? Eller varför inte ta användning av alla “icebreaker” appar som faktiskt finns där ute för att främja diskussioner. Möjligheterna är oändliga! Och glöm inte att det är dina medarbetare som sitter på svaren! Vad är det de behöver för att känna tillhörighet? Ett tips är att anordna en gemensam workshop där ni brainstormar kring aktiviteter som ökar känslan av tillhörighet under denna period.\n
Som svar på andra frågan: Jag har själv ingen aktivitet i åtanke men jag skulle rekommendera er att göra en rolig grej av det, där teamet gemensamt (genom exempelvis en online workshop) kommer fram till roliga aktiviteter som går att genomföra virtuellt.\n

2. TYCKER ATT DET ÄR SVÅRT ATT FÅ KREATIVA DISKUSSIONER ATT FUNGERA PÅ VIDEOMÖTEN. DET BLIR LÄTT ATT ALLA PRATAR I MUNNEN PÅ VARANDRA. ELLER ATT EN I TAGET ”MÄSSAR”/MANSPLAINAR/GER INFORMATION TILL GRUPPEN. VILKA ÄR DINA BÄSTA TIPS FÖR ETT JÄMSTÄLLT, KREATIVTSAMTAL PÅ LÄNK?

Jag skulle säga att möjligheterna är oändliga när kommer till att styra upp möten online! Det ger dig möjlighet att facilitera på ett sätt där alla får komma tills tals. Dels skulle det kunna se ut så att du ger frågan till en specifik person för att du ska ha kontroll över vem som får prata. Det som är positivt med zoom exempelvis är att allas mikrofoner automatiskt är avstängda tills att du ger tillåtelse att sätta på deltagarnas mikrofoner. Ett annat alternativ är mentimeter där du kan ställa frågor / skapa Q&A, polls där folk får rösta – och det sker via en gemensam länkoch är anonymt.

Det använder vi själva på Jobylon och jag personligen iallafall tycker att det är ett fantastiskt och inkluderande verktyg för att skapa intersektionella möten där fler än en persons perspektiv enkelt lyfts fram. När man håller inkluderade samtal så krävs det att man är uppmärksam kring hur ens medarbetare föredrar att kommunicera. Se till att förbereda personer som du vill ge mer utrymme till så att dom inte upplever att dom blir ställda motväggen.

3. ÖNSKAR TIPS PÅ HUR MAN GENOMFÖR ETT STÖRRE MÖTE (MED MÅNGA DELAKTIGA) PÅ ETT BRA SÄTT DÄR MAN ÖNSKAR DISKUSSION OCH INTE EN ENVÄGSKOMMUNIKATION?\n

Zoom tycker jag fungerar utmärkt, mycket bättre än google hangouts när man ska arrangera större möten med många delaktiga! Framförallt om alla ska ha på sina kameror, vilket jag föredrar just för att det ökar känslan av samhörighet. Som jag nämnde i tidigare svar så tror jag också att möten över länk faktiskt kan ge bättre förutsättningar för interaktioner online och ger DIG större möjligheter i din roll som facilitator.\n

4. HUR ARBETAR MAN EFFEKTIVT?\n
\n
Den universella frågan! Jag tror inte att det finns ett svar för alla, men ska försöka vara så generell som möjligt. Först och främst – struktur, struktur, struktur! Något som jag har känt att jag saknat under de år jag arbetat remote är den dagliga high-fiven. Även om mitt team såklart arbetar hårt för att ge alla en daglig dos av uppskattning. Att arbeta hemifrån sätter mycket press på sig själv och allt är upp till dig – ju svårare du har för att fokusera, desto viktigare är det att du sätter upp ett tydligt ramverk för dig själv.\n
_Här kommer två konkreta tips:_\n
\n * Separera området där du jobbar verses där du vilar. Ju svårare du har för att fokusera desto viktigare är det att du sätter ett tydligt ramverk. Bete dig precis som att du ska gå till kontoret, dvs sätt på dig din kontorsoutfit”. Gå en runda runtkvarteret.
\n * Se till att upprätthålla din morgonrutin, det är lätt att hamna i obalans när man “skippar” något steg.\n

5. KÄNNER DU DIG SOM EN DEL AV TEAMET FASTÄN ATT DU JOBBAR REMOTE? OCH HUR GÖR DIN CHEF FÖR ATT DU SKA KÄNNA SÅ?\n
\n
En av fördelarna för min del är att jag hoppade på Jobylon-tåget när vi bara var 7 personer, så jag har organiskt växt tillsammans med teamet (idag är vi 20 personer) och hunnit lära känna alla dom gånger jag har kommit hem mellan varven. Jag har under stor del av min karriär jobbat remote så har inte heller någon kontrast attjämföra med.
\n
Min chef och jag har stående veckomöten och 1:1 där vi checkar läget och ser till att alla är fortsatt glada. Vårt marketing-team har också dagliga check-ins där vi inte bara pratar jobb utan också kollar läget – en måttlig mängd av småprat skulle jag säga är viktigt i tider som dessa! Många pratar om att det är lätt att “överkommunicera” men jag är övertygad om att det är nyckelingrediens i att lyckas med sitt distansarbete. Det finns inget som heter att överkommunicera tycker jag – mycket av vår icke-verbala interaktion faller ju bort så ju skickligare vi blir på att kommunicera, desto mindre meckigt blir det att arbeta hemifrån. Något som har hjälpt mig att känna samhörighet trots distans är att det finns ett utrymme för transparens, det känns enkelt för mig att våga vara öppen med hur jag mår, även om det inte nödvändigtvis är jobbrelaterat.\n

6. HUR HÅLLER MAN DEN SOCIALA SAMVARON MED SINA KOLLEGOR LEVANDE?\n
\n
Kommunikation är A och O när vi jobbar på distans – våga ta det en gång extra än en gång för lite! Dessutom tycker jag att transparens är så viktigt, oavsett om du är chef eller anställd. Det är så vi connectar människor emellan. Vi går igenom en tid där alla sitter i samma båt, det du upplevelser – upplever alla andra. Inte bara i sverige, utan i världen. Vad får dina medarbetare att må bra och vad känner de avsaknad av just nu? Och hur kan vi lösa det på bästa möjliga sätt? Många tycker exempelvis att skiftet från kontor till hemmajobb är utmanande, det skulle kunna vara en aspekt att lyfta. Det skulle kunna ske i en organiserad form eller genom er dagliga kommunikation, beroende på storlek av team såklart.\n
\n
7. HUR SKA MAN TÄNKA OM FAMILJEMEDLEMMAR OCKSÅ ÄR HEMMA?\n
\n
Kanske kan man ha en diskussion om det och göra det tydligt för alla vad DU behöver för att få det att fungera? Läget är långt ifrån optimalt för majoriteten av oss, kan du försöka förmedla det på ett sätt så att alla där hemma är medvetna om vad ni behöver från varandra för att få det att funka? Ingen kan veta vad du tänker innan du berättat hur du känner.\n

8. HUR KAN MAN FÅ EN LAGOM NIVÅ AV KOMMUNIKATION?\n
\n
Har du redan allt inlagt i kalendern? En väg att gå skulle kunna vara att be dina kollegor kika där innan de börjar bombardera dig med frågor, eller ha en lucka varje dag (ex varje dag mellan 13-14) där ditt team har möjlighet att reacha ut. Min chef och jag har exempelvis weeklys vilket betyder att vi sparar allt som inte är super brådskande till veckomötet för att kunna checka av det då. Så på vis sparar vi massa tid och fram-och-tillbaka hoppande.\n

9. VAD BEHÖVER DU FÖR ATT JOBBA EFFEKTIVT FRÅN DIN ARBETSGIVARE?\n
\n
Först och främst tydliga instruktioner, jag jobbar dessutom i en annan tidszon vilket betyder att den information vi skickar till varandra måste vara så pass tydligt att alla i teamet kan sätta sig och börja jobba på något nytt utan att behöva hamna i ett mellanläge där vi inte kan arbeta innan den andra personen har vaknat. Annars förlorar man extremt mycket tid! Det här är såklart en process och ju mer man lär känna sitt team och deras sätt att kommunicera, desto lättare blir det. Tydlighet är nyckeln!\n
Också, peppande meddelanden. Att min arbetsgivare tar sig en extra minut att bara kolla läget – även de små detaljerna gör stor skillnad för mig och gör att jag känner mig mer som en del av teamet vilket i sin tur sporrar min motivation.\n

10. HAR DU NÅGRA SNABBA TIPS PÅ HUR JAG SOM TEAM MANAGER DAGLIGEN KAN PEPPA MITT TEAM SOM SITTER I KARANTÄN OCH JOBBAR HEMIFRÅN?\n

Mitt bästa tips är att fråga ditt team vad de behöver för att må bra och för att kunna genomföra ett så bra jobb som möjligt.\n

11. HUR SER EN “VANLIG” REMOTE ARBETSDAG UT FÖR DIG?\n
\n
Nu sitter jag precis som alla andra i karantän så, inte speciellt händelserikt, haha! Brukar börja mina dagar med yoga/meditation (är ändå baserad på Bali så måste leva upp till ryktet). Bor med två andra tjejer som båda driver egna företag, så ibland brukar vi ha gemensamma work-sessions där vi beställer massa mat och kaffe och arbetar tillsammans en eftermiddag (som ett co-working space fast karantän-style). Emellanåt går jag upp till köket för att koka extra kaffe. Vanligtvis brukar jag leta upp ett arbetsvänligt café eller co-working space och arbeta därifrån!\n

12. HUR KAN JAG HJÄLPA MINA ANSTÄLLDA ATT UPPRÄTTHÅLLA NÅGON FORM AV WORK-LIFE-BALANCE?\n
\n
Rutiner behöver inte ruckas på alls bara för att vi jobbar remote. Nästan allt vi gör IRL kan vi göra online! Låt oss säga att man har som rutin att gå till gymmet före eller under lunchen – varför inte göra det online istället? Kanske finns det någon i teamet som råkar vara en utbildad PT (nu råkar vi ha typ 3 stycken PT i på Jobylon haha) som skulle vilja hålla ett pass? Det finns hur massvis med digitala träningsmöjligheter och gym som har börjat erbjuda onlinepass. Utgå från den rutin du redan upprätthåller och se om du kan göra det online istället!\n
\n
14. VAD ÄR DET BÄSTA MED ATT JOBBA REMOTE?\n
\n
För mig går det djupare än att jag har ett jobb jag kan genomföra platsoberoende. Det handlar om att vakna upp på morgonen och känna att jag valt en livsstil som tillför glädje i mitt liv. Som inte tvingar mig att leva upp till en idé om hur mitt liv “borde” se ut eller att jag försöker passa in i en box som inte är menad för mig. Allt är “handmade by people”, allt vi ser är framtaget av människan och därför tycker jag också det är viktigt att våga ifrågasätta saker, exempelvis sättet vi väljer att arbeta på. För mig är det här ett sånt självklart val att jobba från valfri plats istället för ett kontor men många arbetsgivare där ute har fortfarande. Det kanske är exakt det dina anställda behöver för att göra ett ännu bättre jobb och det ökar såklart chansen att dessa medarbetare kommer stanna ännu längre och känna sig ännu merdedikerad.

15. HUR HITTAR DU DIN MOTIVATION?\n
\n
Eventuellt dåligt svar men tror det är lite inbyggt i den jag är som person. Jag har drivit eget, pluggat på distans och haft majoriteten av mina arbetsgivare på delvis distans. Självdisciplin kommer därför väldigt naturligt för mig och jag har haft många år på mig att utforska vilka redskap jag behöver för att jobba effektivt. Dessutom sporrar mitt arbete mig, jag älskar “try and see” mentaliteten som genomsyrar hur vi arbetar på Jobylon och att galna idéer är välkomna samt att det finns utrymme att själv forma sin arbetsroll. Vi känner oss själva bäst, vi vet ofta vad vi behöver – det handlar mer om att ge oss själva det utrymmet att få utforska det. Och lägga ut en plan för dig själv kring hur du vill att en dag ska se ut så att du mår så bra och är så effektiv som möjligt.\n
