VICTORIAN KITCHEN

This project was the remodel of a kitchen and dining room in a beautiful, rambling, old victorian house in the Mount Tabor neighborhood of Portland. The original kitchen was small, dark, and cramped, with a glassed-in porch surrounding it on two sides so that it had no exterior windows. We converted PACIFIC NORTHWEST TUDOR Pacific Northwest Tudor. This project was a remodel of an iconic, historic Tudor home in Portland. We thoroughly reworked the plan to improve the function of the house, including relocating the kitchen, adding several new bathrooms, and making the attic and basement

habitable.

ALBEMARLE TERRACE HOUSE Albemarle terrace HOUSE. This project was a top to bottom remodel of a 1920’s house in Portland’s Northwest Hills. Our work involved relocating the kitchen to the sunnier side of the house, adding a second canning and project kitchen to the basement as well as a PARK SLOPE LIMESTONE Park Slope Limestone. This project was a careful restoration and remodel of an historic 1901 Park Slope Limestone house in Brooklyn, New York. In order to keep the office open-feeling we fulfilled the client’s requirement of two private offices by creating two glass cubes that align with the existing elevator shaft. VICTORIAN KITCHEN

This project was the remodel of a kitchen and dining room in a beautiful, rambling, old victorian house in the Mount Tabor neighborhood of Portland. The original kitchen was small, dark, and cramped, with a glassed-in porch surrounding it on two sides so that it had no exterior windows. We converted ALBEMARLE TERRACE HOUSE Albemarle terrace HOUSE. This project was a top to bottom remodel of a 1920’s house in Portland’s Northwest Hills. Our work involved relocating the kitchen to the sunnier side of the house, adding a second canning and project kitchen to the basement as well as a PARK SLOPE LIMESTONE Park Slope Limestone. This project was a careful restoration and remodel of an historic 1901 Park Slope Limestone house in Brooklyn, New York. The clients purchased the home almost entirely in its original state with all the original inlay wood floors, plaster crown moldings, and ornate woodwork throughout preserved beautifully. JHID HQ — JESSICA HELGERSON INTERIOR DESIGN JHID HQ. Located in downtown Portland’s Old Town, our office is situated in the historic Railway Building, built in 1872. It features beautiful brick walls, high ceilings, a mezzanine loft conference room, and huge windows facing out towards Portland’s 1st Avenue, which is a major line of Portland’s MAX light rail train.

GOTHIC OFFICE

Gothic Office. This luxurious private office is in an 1870s historic gothic revival building in downtown Portland. In order to keep the office open-feeling we fulfilled the client’s requirement of two private offices by creating two glass cubes that align with the existing elevator shaft.

NW JOHNSON ST

NW Johnson Street HOUSE. This was an extensive remodel of a Portland house built in 1907, which had been subdivided into several apartments at one point in its history.

SAFFRON FIELDS

Saffron Fields. This tasting room is located in Yamhill, Oregon in a lovely pastoral setting of rolling, vine-covered hills. The building was designed by Eugene firm 2form Architecture and is surrounded by a meditation garden by Kurisu International, designers of Portland’s Japanese Gardens.Our role in the project was to select interior finish materials and furniture.

OREGON COAST HOUSE

Oregon Coast House. We were called in to furnish this house on a beautiful stretch of the Oregon Coast. The house is divided into three levels, each with its own common living space as well as adjacent bedrooms. We wanted to give each level a special feeling of its own. The upper level is light and elegant with a 16-foot-long sofa that

PACIFIC NORTHWEST TUDOR Pacific Northwest Tudor. This project was a remodel of an iconic, historic Tudor home in Portland. We thoroughly reworked the plan to improve the function of the house, including relocating the kitchen, adding several new bathrooms, and making the attic and basement

habitable.

LIBRARY HOUSE

This project was a complete remodel plus an addition to a small structure which was originally the public library in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland.
