Method with step wise pictures: Heat a pan and add 2 tsp oil. Add the Urad dal, tamarind, red chili, and asafoetida. Fry till the dal turns golden brown. Switch off the flame . IDLI MILAGAI PODI RECIPE Molaga podi recipe updated with video Milagai podi- a spicy, flavourful powder made by coarsely grinding roasted lentils and dry chillies. Milagai podi or Molaga podi or Idli podi (commonly STUFFED BRINJAL RECIPE Wash the brinjal and pat dry it. Take out the top portion. Slit the brinjal and do not cut them fully. We need to stuff the filling into it. Stuff 1 tblsp of the filling into the slit eggplant. Stuff the masala inside the brinjals carefully, till the tip of the brinjal. Use it according to the size of the brinjal. PARUPPU PAYASAM RECIPE| MOONG DAL PAYASAM In a pan add 1 tsp ghee and add the moong dal and chana dal. Roast till nice aroma emits. Do in a low flame without burning the dals. Transfer this to a vessel and add ¾ cup water. Pressure cook till 3-4 whistles. You can soak this for 15 minutes and also CURD POHA | DAHI POHA RECIPE Drain the water completely. Add ¾ cup curd and 2 tblsp milk to the poha. Mix well. Adjust the consistency by adding little more milk. Always use room temperature milk. In a pan add 3 tsp oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chili, grated ginger, asafoetida, chopped green chilis, and curry leaves. If adding cashew nuts add it as well. JAIPURI VEGETABLE PULAO Method: Soak the rice in 1 and 1/4 cup of water for 15 minutes. Cook this in pressure cooker by adding salt and few drops of oil. Allow this to cool and let the rice be grainy. Grind the ingredients given under the head To grind into a fine paste. I too make in a different way, but after tasting this dal in my friends place, almost a VEG KOTHU PAROTTA, A POPULAR TAMILNADU STREET STYLE FOOD Keep it aside. In a pan add 2 tblsp oil and add curry leaves. Add 2 chopped onions. Saute till translucent. Add 1 chopped tomato and saute for 2 minutes. Add 2 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tsp garam masala and salt. Cook for 2 mins. Add the Shredded parotta. Mix well. STUFFED BRINJAL RECIPE Wash the brinjal and pat dry it. Take out the top portion. Slit the brinjal and do not cut them fully. We need to stuff the filling into it. Stuff 1 tblsp of the filling into the slit eggplant. Stuff the masala inside the brinjals carefully, till the tip of the brinjal. Use it according to the size of the brinjal. KUMBAKONAM KADAPPA| KADAPPA RECIPE Adding whole spices or garlic will give a kurma taste to the Kumbakonam kadappa. In a pan add 3 tsp oil and add the peeled shallots. Saute this till golden brown. Add this to a vessel and add cup moong dal and 1/8 tsp turmeric powder.
