COORDINATORS’ AREA Educational Visits. Our Educational Visit Grants support schools and youth organisations with the costs of making visits to museums, theatres, science shows and more. These fun, educational experiences help young people to develop a wide range of valuable personal and social skills, as well as providing the chance to learn outside of theclassroom.

The Jack Petchey Foundation is a youth-focused grant maker located near Canary Wharf in the heart of London’s Docklands. Young people are at the centre of everything we do, and our values underpin our day to day work. The work we do really does make a difference toEDUCATIONAL VISITS
In 2019, we provided 209 schools and youth organisations with grants totalling £49,476. The Ricards Lodge High School used their Educational Visit Grant from the Jack Petchey Foundation to take their dance students to the Move It 2018 event in London. SHAPING OUR FUTURE: THE COVID-19 YOUTH SURVEY The Shaping Our Future Survey asked young people from London and Essex about their experiences of the lockdown and what they want to see for young people in the future. Over 6,000 young people responded, showing how keen they are to have their voices heard. The Leader Award Grant (formerly Small Grants for Leaders) programme allows organisations that are successfully running the Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme to apply for a small grant of up to £1000 to further enhance their work with young people. SPEAK OUT CHALLENGE
Jack Petchey’s “Speak Out” Challenge! is the largest speaking competition for young people in the world! Designed and delivered by Speakers Trust, and supported and funded by the Jack Petchey Foundation, this programme has become a high profile, well established part of school life across London and Essex.It provides essential tools for young people – of all abilities and from all BUILDING CONFIDENCE THROUGH BOXING Building confidence through boxing – Future Youth Zone. Future Youth Zone is a purpose-built facility that exists to give 8-19 year olds (and up to 25 with disabilities) somewhere safe and inspiring to go to during their evenings and weekends.
