Not an expert but suspension tuning is complex - In the case of the STi (on my third) I’ve always thought it was the initial deflection of the smaller hits that makes the car unpleasant to drive - way to lo firm and jiggly - particularly at lower speed. Once you’re driving above 30mph it’s fine IMO.VF48 VERSUS VF39
Unless you wanted to stick with an IHI turbo for some reason. But to answer your question, yes, they have more potential for power than the VF39 on the 04-06 STi, as well as the VF43 on the 07 STi. To my knowledge, the VF43 is the same as the VF39 but with a redesigned wastegate. The VF48 differs from the VF43 via a new compressor design. OHLINS ROAD AND TRACK Truly the 'gold standard' in more ways than one, the Ohlins Road and Track coilovers have long been associated with quality and performance. I was looking for a new coilover set for my 2015+ Subaru STI build that would be able to handle track duty without yet stepping into the Moton or JRZ realm and the Ohlins Road and Track coilovers seemed to check all of the boxes. CYLINDER #4 COOLING MOD viper_crazy. The coolant mod allows some amount of coolant to bypass the original path through the radiator (from cylinder 4 -> heater hose -> water pump housing inlet -> cylinder 2). While probably a minimal amount, it does reduce the percentage of coolant passing through theradiator.

I have a pair of D25 heads. Had them assembled and rebuilt at a local machine shop. They adjusted the valve lash to .010 exhaust and .008 intake. After I got them I torqued them to the block and checked the lash again. Here's what they came out to be. Am I ok with these clearances or does the CAN METHANOL GO BAD?
