SCHOOL SAFETY, SECURITY & BEHAVIORAL HEALTH Managing school safety, security, and student behavioral health are among the hats educators are now asked to wear. How are educators to sort through the emails, periodicals, seminars and mailings that all say that “our system is the best solution for your school entity?”. IU13 can help. IU13 BOARD OF DIRECTORS IU13 Board of Directors. IU13 is governed by a 22-member Board of Directors. Each public school district in Lancaster and Lebanon counties selects one of their board members to sit on the IU13 board. SECONDARY TRANSITION PROGRAMS Secondary Transition Programs. Preparing students with disabilities to become successful workers requires hands-on experiences beyond what is offered in a traditional school setting. Supports are provided to students through job training services. In addition, IU13 offers a variety of transition supports and resources for families and schools.

EARLY HEAD START

Early Head Start is a federally funded community-based program for low-income pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers. Its mission is to enhance the development of very young children, and to promote healthy family functioning.
