BUDGET ANNOUNCEMENTS: WHAT CHANGES DO SUPER FUNDS NEED … Many superannuation rates and thresholds are reviewed and may change each 1 July. These changes take place independent of the Budget changes. Here are some of the key rates that change on 1 July 2021: SG employer contributions increase from 9.5% to 10% of earnings. Maximum super contribution base increases from $57,090 to $58,920 per quarter.
