All spaces are open to you! Tales, short stories, vignettes and world building from my upcoming Infinispace novels and beyond. “O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams.” ~Hamlet A2.S2. REVIEW: MARSBOUND TRILOGY BY JOE HALDEMAN ∞ INFINISPACE Joe Haldeman is one of my favorite and most read authors. The first book of his that I read was There Is No Darkness, a coming of age military SF novel penned with his older brother Jack C. Haldeman II. I read Darkness sometime around 1984 . . . 30 years ago! And of course he wrote one of the most classic SF novels ever, The Forever War, which is widely believed to be a re-telling of his REVIEW: AURORA BY KIM STANLEY ROBINSON ∞ INFINISPACE This review contains spoilers. F ull disclosure: Aurora is the first Kim Stanley Robinson book that I’ve read. I picked it up after reading an article that opined if there were two science fiction books you read in 2015 they had to be Seveneves and Aurora.. At the time I was partially through Seveneves and found it a brilliant piece of speculative fiction. RETRO REVIEW: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (1999) ∞ INFINISPACE Michael Hoffman’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is by far the best film version of the play I have seen . . . unfortunately, that isn’t saying much!
