The Board is responsible for developing, monitoring and reviewing the IFPA’s Strategic Plan.. The pregnancy rate associated with the use of Implanon is very low. Less than 1 in 1000 women using it over three years will become pregnant. However some prescribed medicines may make an implant less effective so always inform your doctor if you are being prescribed medicines. SEXUAL HEALTH TRAINING The IFPA offers a comprehensive one-day training on the basics of sexual and reproductive health. This training is recommended for those in the health, education, youth, social or community sectors, or for anyone who wants to know more about sexual health. Fee.
