FACT SHEET: CEPAEA HORTENSIS The glossy shell of this snail ranges in height from 10 to 18 mm and a diameter of 14 to 22 mm. The number of whorls on the shell may be either 5 - 5 1/2 depending on locality. FACT SHEET: LIMAX MAXIMUS They are able to mate while suspended on a thread of mucus and generally produces oval eggs, in clusters (50-130) that are approximately 5-5.5 mm in diameter. The total number of eggs laid by this species throughout its lifetime is roughly 650-850. Mating occurs in spring and autumn. They have a lifespan of approximately three tofour years.

FACT SHEET: CEPAEA HORTENSIS The glossy shell of this snail ranges in height from 10 to 18 mm and a diameter of 14 to 22 mm. The number of whorls on the shell may be either 5 - 5 1/2 depending on locality. The shell is smooth and may have a uniform color that ranges from primrose yellow, olive-yellow, grey-yellow or grey-yellow brown with the lip being white in color. FACT SHEET: CITRUS SCAB Leaf and fruit - early scab pustules are a mixture of fungal and host tissue. These pustules are slightly raised and pink to light brown in color. Young foliar lesions superficially resemble young citrus canker and may have a slight water soaked margin. As fruit and leaf pustules develop, the small elevated pink spots become more defined and may form conical depressions nearby.
