DJ Half.queen kicked things off on the main stage at 12.25pm and the party continued from there. Mr Gay NZ contestants were introduced to the crowd at 1pm and the winner was due to be announced at 5pm. Performers Randa, the Malcolm Pacific Community Variety Show, Mika Haka, Lizzie Marvelly, Night of the Queer and Alae entertained thecrowd.

HIV and STI testing was available throughout the event at the NZAFBurnett centre.
